My point is that if Ange is replaced then Silva, in my opinion, would represent the best option that Levy could get for Spurs if Prem proven is part of the criteria, which after Ange, it probably should be.
The current Spurs squad is probably the best group of players that Silva would have had the opportunity to manage in England. He has clearly improved several players, during his current stint at Fulham, which also suggests he could get more from several of our younger players.
For what it is worth; I still think carrying on with Ange, until the end of the season or the end of Spurs chances to win a trophy, should be the chosen path. Silva would still be interested in Spurs by the summer. The current injuries to Spurs defenders is a freak occurrence and is definitely part of the current problem whoever was picking the team. The miser left Ange short of two Solanke level players in the summer window, while charging supporters top dollar, reducing the wage bill but remains one of the best paid chairman in the Premier League despite continual fuck ups. The miser has long standing form for this, over two decades, and we all know it.
The miser needs to sort it out in January or sack himself this time.
