That fucking idiot is literally wrecking careers.

Amateur cunt.

None of these players getting repeated hammies will likely be the same.

Solanke next btw.

We all know it's coming.

They dont get 2 days off after games. They did this week due to not playing till Sat. Its a rare occurance
I never said that mate. They come in the following day. After a game the guys who started will do stuff with the physios and sports scientists. The next day they do stuff again with the sports scientists (stretching/strenghthening) and then out on the pitch for what will be a warm up and a touch of a ball. They won’t do contact stuff till the third day when it gets ramped up again. The ones that don’t play will do a full session on the second day.

I watched Udogie go from a top prospect looking like he'd emulated Kyle Walkers trajectory to a burned out husk, his decision-making shot. He was clearly half knackered and not moving properly. People simply went oh we all wrong initially he's just shit. He isn't but another six months under this man and the kids finished. And VDV is the next one to be total spoiled he started to have the big errors and the so mentally fried look he seemed confused. I'm really worried for our players this man's a danger to them.

So imagine what would have happened if they’d both had to play for someone even more intense like Klopp or Pep….

Unless they aren’t broken at all, we are just having a rough season.

I've watched Pep sides especially when they have Rodri and prime KDB or even Kovacic they break up the game with dozens of cynical fouls, they control and move the football with loads of precise one twos, they are the poorest comparison there is with Angeball.

They rest often and tire the oposition with the ball, it's not all hundreds of runs in field to find the next overload. They do not play football like us. That's point one. Point two Klopps hard running Gengen pressing team is out of date even he had moved on. They were much more controlled at the end, choosing when and in which third they press.

I said this ages ago Ange is actually arrived late to a party his style is old and the game has moved on. Its applying his beliefs in a much more controlled way. I know you will not accept it, but I firmly believe it. I think it is very evident if watch the teams. It's also a mark of how Sharp Arne Slot is, he's taken it even further. His Liverpool are patience and wait resting before executing the press. It's less all action.

It's funny but it's another reason I don't think swaping Ange for a younger more savy coach will be as bad as some think. Ange is an old dog who learn his trick and hasn't realised disco is dead. We don't stop...not the cure all he thinks.

So by all means you can wave Pep and Klopp and say but they press too! But I don't accept in any way that this means what you believe it to. Pressing is a much abused notion in modern fandom, it can and is applied in myriad ways.

Pep has always been the master not just of cynical fouls but also of little sly fouls, just enough to disrupt opponents’ play esp on the counter and not serious enough for players to get booked as the City players have seemed to take it in turn to commit these fouls.

Anges arrived late to the party because he's only just arrived onto the big league.
Maybe he was playing this way long before klopp and pep ?
Yes he did it at Celtic , he had superior players who could coast through games while winning 6-1. Just as Pep and klopp could back then.
I don't think Anges style of football is antiquated it's just that he doesn't have superior players now or even a squad to keep it going.

You guys are making a really good point, it’s something that would really help us. It is a bit BS that for years City has gotten away with it.

You're focusing on the wrong end of the telescope. I don't care how long he's been doing it. I don't care about Ange Postecoglou.I care about Spurs.

The substantive point is this isn't the SPL, football moves on fast. It's not simply about high press all the time. The current football calendar has made this early incarnation redundant modern coaches have seen this and they do stop.

The catastrophic injuries the instability the lack of game management. It might bag the mighty SPL ( the bigger achievement was the J League ranked a whole 19 places higher so you should cite that man) it won't here. For what ever reason his 61 year old self has arrive late to the top table, disco is dead and he is wearing flares.
