You don't sack a manager when the whole team are clearly fighting for him and willing to play through illness for him. Players willing to play out of position every week. Players trying to rush back from injury to help the team! You can't buy that. This is a united group and sacking the manager will only divide the camp
Nobody is really questioning the fight. It’s whether the manager is good enough. I’m sure they love him.

But regardless of personnel it’s not good enough. Hasn’t been good enough the whole time.

Let’s be honest, given the circumstances, any manager would’ve found it difficult to get anything out of this game today.

Not sure what’s left to discuss about this manager, the season is a fucking shambles and an embarrassment to this club. I feel that the more the bald cunt does nothing, the worse it will become. Also the "fans" still defending this manager are a disgrace.
I wouldn’t go as far as calling those defending him a disgrace—that’s a bit heavy-handed, to be honest.

However, I do believe many are indulging in a bit too much optimism regarding his ability to turn things around.

That said, I’m in full agreement with the rest of your post.

the biggest problem this teams has imo is in attacking and defensive wide areas

Full backs need to get out to their man and close down the ball aggressively but it just doesn’t happen. We give opposition wide players so much time, space and options. Look at the difference the other end. How many times Kulusveski, Johnson, Son, Werner hit the shins of the defender when trying to cross or dribble or they are forced to recycle the ball.

A lot of the attacking stuff is to do with a lack of quality, not being able to manipulate the ball to work their own space but defensively it’s nowhere near aggressive enough.

That's a fair opinion and the results back up your opinion. The jury is 100% out on Ange and even I need convincing. I just don't see the point in sacking him mid season. Let's see how this all plays out and then go for Iraolo/Frank in the summer of we do just finish midtable and win nothing. I don't think bringing in a new manager now and dividing the camp is going to swing this season

There's a man with a clear head, we need more like you, sir!
The man said we should use the league to "rotate players" and its tottally irrelevant and he apparently has a "clear head".

Our form is that of a team that will be relegated. You know what "rotating players in the league" and not going full strength will get us? trips to West Brom and fucking Derby County.

All hail great poster with the world's most defeatist attitude.

Well something has got to give as you can’t be charging £100+ to watch us , we are literally charging premium prices to watch a team with a 3rd choice GK and finish the game with no recognised defenders!

It’s a hard one as we can’t keep changing the manager and hoping we get lucky again like we did with Poch , I understand rebuilds are painful but I don’t see any progress on the pitch, I like Ange he is a likeable guy but the team doesn’t look coached , it’s just “go and play football”

We’ve gone from "we’ll win the league" in his first season, to "it takes 6 months to rock-n-roll", to "just wait until everyone is back from injuries", to "second season is gonna be explosive just watch", to "league is tight, we’re only 2 points off 2nd place", to "we’re only 3 points off top 4", to "we’re only 5 points off top 6", to "look at the players they’re fighting for him" and ultimately "Ramos had a similar PPG to Postecoglou and he’s won a cup so it must mean something". :harrylol: :harrylol: :harrylol:

They are lunatics

Wish the team could defend like these losers defending this shite

Even the most determined manager sackers will have seen the fight and spirit shown by those players today, especially second half. They will never admit it... but they saw it.

The way this season is going to feel with the FA Cup and Europa double at the end will hit like crack. Even sweeter after going through scandalous fixes like today.

As completely nutty as ever.
