Don't forget he took over a club that just finished 8th. And he dragged this little club up to the dizzying heights of 5th last season.

Honestly imagine if Mourinho said that in a press conference the way this fella did a couple days ago.
Embarrassing collapse to throw away fourth as well! Gifted it to a very average Villa side after putting 4 past them.

His low standards fit well with Levy.

I saw so many positives today! Look how good Porro looked after finally getting a 6 day break? Archie Gray couldn't train with the flu all week but plays 90 mins against Isak today and held his own! These players are fighting for the manager! Once we get our squad healthy again then I really think we can fight on all fronts!

I'm alot more positive about our situation now than I was last week! Even the fact that the league is totally irrelevant now gives us a clear advantage in the cups where we can go full strength in them and use the league to rotate players (once we get our squad back and can actually start rotating again!!).

After crawling through the darkest tunnel, I'm starting to see the light! Please get behind this team! We can do something spectacular this season and end the trophy drought!
Send me the name of whatever it is you've been prescribed please.

Mourning said exactly that when achieving 6th after taking over from Poch.

Do you not remember the celebrations?

Yes - and the clear fact that he still has the players so sacking him risks a massive drop in morale ON TOP OF the poor any of the other assistants either.
That is the reason I can't commit to the Ange-out train yet. The players are clearly not downing tools.

I remain Angenostic but we're not in a normal situation right now. I have never, in four decades, felt so conflicted about a manager.

Some of this lot wouldn't even give him a chance, if he acted like Ange people would be losing their shit and it would be all over the back pages.

I'm convinced these people aren't spurs fans

All jokes aside Doomy - every Spurs fan in the ground today were rightly happy with such a performance under such conditions. And rightly so.

None of which means the manager shouldn't be sacked - but Gray, Spence (second half), Bergvall and Austin are worthy of every bit of praise proper Spurs fans will send their way.

I think MemphisWill MemphisWill is right (amongst others) and that he should and will be sacked (I'd prefer not to but that's a romantic position not a rational one) - BUT I do appreciate it's a tricky time for the management because I can't see short term fix who will galvanise the group immediately like Conte or Redknapp once did.

I'm sure they're looking thougg

Someone mentioned Ayahusca on the match thread, I think it was Furbie Furball man Furball man

These 'Angelites' or Angeaholics or whatever fucking cringe name has been invented must be Australians, it's all alcoholism and crystal meth over there as far as I'm aware.

They must all be hallucinating or something.

Delusional is sacking a manager halfway through a season who's had to deal with an abysmal injury run and a bit of bad luck and with no clear plan of who to get in.

Just look at how happy all the "Ten Hag Out" fans at Man U are now that they got their wish to get Ten Hag out.

Postecoglou isn't that far away from Mourhinos same number of points with the same amount of games when we sacked him and he had Kane to drag him through games like today.

We're in a difficult spot at the moment, but we will get through.

Do you think you'd be any happier sacking Ange than the "Ten Hag out" fans are right now?

Well something has got to give as you can’t be charging £100+ to watch us , we are literally charging premium prices to watch a team with a 3rd choice GK and finish the game with no recognised defenders!

It’s a hard one as we can’t keep changing the manager and hoping we get lucky again like we did with Poch , I understand rebuilds are painful but I don’t see any progress on the pitch, I like Ange he is a likeable guy but the team doesn’t look coached , it’s just “go and play football”
Yeah i do think the club should drop the prices for league games while we are outside the top 8. I think thats only fair. Especially if we are going to just bin off the league and go all out for the cups now. I can completely understand fan frustration there, and I think the club should genuinely consider dropping the prices while we are not in the top 8 or something like that

Anyone who wasn't genuinely happy excited and enthusiastic after the first eight games can not be in love with the club. He seemed too good to be true. Then Sheffield United and Chelsea happened and a few of his decisions really jarred. He then faced an array of coaches who had a look under the hood positionally at what he was doing. They pretty quickly countered it and he seemed unable to respond.

Then the injuries started to build and the bizarre muddled frankly odd treatment of certain players began to infuriate me. Romero, Maddison, Sarr, Forster Austin, Whitman, DJED SPENCE. And it got strange because any legitimate concern was drowned by fans from Melbourne, or fans from Glasgow who assured then insisted then raged, we must have faith this always happens then you become unstoppable. But all I could see was imbalance poor resource management favouritism poor subs and inflexibility.

Truth is the remaining conclusions lasted way longer than the early impressions. I've seen a big enough data set now to see the average. This isn't going to sweep the EPL away. The mans been over promoted. I suspect in the summer Iraola gets approached and Ange never returns to this level again.
Can't argue with any of them points and right now I think that is the most likely outcome. We persist with Ange until May and then move for Iraola in the Summer

No fan should be rightly happy in the slightest right now

But I don't doubt your claim

Our fans are the worst

Man U are not a good comparison for us.

Ange is done.
