Who cares about a couple mickey mouse cups? I don’t even give a shit if other teams win them- they’re a joke. CL and PL are the pinnacle of competition in this sport- it’s where the very best games are played. I personally don’t think much of EL, or the modern FA or EL cups.

Iraola would at least be a remotely similar football philosophy but agree, he's never coached or played twice a week in his career and realistically his teams outperforming their wage budget is fantastic but it's not that simple.
If they really want to sack Ange it needs to be a genuinely special coach coming in and a coach who wants to continue with the direction we have started off in.
This is exactly why our fanbase get mocked.
May as well finish the season and see because we didn't win one with Poch, Jose, or Conte in charge either.

And then there is the embarrassment of anyone thinking the EL and domestic cups are beneath us. 91 is still my best football memory and the reason why people ever fell in love with a club like Tottenham Hotspur.

Bournemouth don't play anything like poch's Southampton. Ironically they played somewhat like an ange team, quite a high line which required a sweeper keeper, intense pressing, lots of forward pressure
I guess because they're both brunettes of similar build doing better with a traditionally poor side. But again poch was playing for PSG and at world cups with Argentina having an elite mindset

Ange didn’t have a full squad and still insisted on barely rotating his players. It’s not fair to reduce the suboptimal fitness argument to cricitizing his playing style with fullbacks and high intensity pressing- he’s actually sub optimally managed the roster by making less use of it than was even afforded to him to begin with.
