Austin for experience…he’s 26 ! Poor guy, gets his first game after donkey’s years, plays well on the day when we announce we are signing a new keeper. Hope he plays ahead of Forster against Liverpool, that will really test him.I wonder if the new GK signing was in part done to allow Austin to go out on loan for experience - was last on loan at Orlando in MLS in 2021. Has only played about 20 games on loan.
A good loan for half a season might even double his experience on loan and start to make him a more sensible option as either a no. 2 or no 3 CT GK at Spurs.

And couldn’t do much about their goals eitherHe was very good in the air, caught well, held it well and actually looked more in control on crosses than either of our other keepers. It is of course just one game though, but honestly, I thought he played well.

I thought he had stepped back and Lange and Munn were now in charge.

I wouldn’t say he’s a real out and out winger either. More of wide forward type.He is also a proper right winger unlike Kulusevski whose future is more middle. Would be a game changer for us in the front line.

Honestly this guy is just a machine. His all round play is top notch as well. For me he could be a £80m player and be worth that. If the ‘game changing’ stadium means anything a transfer like this is what is needed.

And they say Levy is too cheap to ever pick up the Czech after dinner.

I mentioned him in posts a few times but not directly naming him.
Yes, yes he will still be a Brentford player at the end of the window. WHat kind of nonsense is this.
Good player tho, I agree.
Can see him being at Liverpool after Salah goes.
That is such a sad view of where we are. A club with the best stadium that charges fans the highest prices in the land and yet a player like this is seen as totally out of our league. Just waiting on Liverpool or Woolwich to pick him up.
