For once I'm with Ange on this one. He did a great post press conference in saying it wasn't a level playing field which was true. The referee was a DISGRACE and robbed Tottenham Hotspur! And yes his team gave everything on the pitch.

I would say that he should consider leaving out Brennan Johnsonn tho.

It's a massively important competition, and one Ange's successor (assuming he's sacked in the next week or so) should be pointedly instructed to prioritise. We're fucked in the league, top 4 is gone. Can't see us making a run in the FA Cup, but that should be priority #2.

It's the only real reason why I'm somewhat onside with Potter if Iraola and Silva won't swap horses mid race. Give him a contract for 6 months that automatically extends to cover the next 2 seasons if he wins the EL. Properly incentivize winning what would be the most meaningful trophy Spurs have won in at least 34 years, if not 41.

It’s not that I don’t want to win minor cups- I do- I just really prioritize league finish and CL. I don’t think it’s realistic to hope for cup success when league form is this bad, however. I do think another manager would give us a better chance in the cups.
