It’s not that I don’t want to win minor cups- I do- I just really prioritize league finish and CL. I don’t think it’s realistic to hope for cup success when league form is this bad, however. I do think another manager would give us a better chance in the cups.

hmmm but most of our best league form has come when the manager has been willing to sacrifice the Cups.

Poch reached the odd final but he was openly focused on getting top 4.

If you want to challenge for both seriously, you probably need a squad deeper than Levynomics designed to facilitate.

Which we must be all getting pretty bored of by now?

It's not like any of the Ange Out crew are going to change their mind after today, likewise those that want to see it through.
I’ve at least been consistent- I was calling for Ange to be sacked as late as a few games before the end of last season. You can all look it up if you’re pedantic enough.

While the club keeps spiraling downwards I will happily keep reminding people why this happening. I’m entitled to my opinion as are you.

You are and I trust you, no need to check your posts.

I was Ange in back then as well and equally entitled to that view.

Tbh my feeling wasn't far off. We were unlucky today. Those predicting a total demolition were much further off than me.

At no point did we deserve to win the match.

People predicting demolitions were mostly people deliberately playing us down so that any result would be seen as decent. I.e Shadydan Shadydan

So purposely go out of all the cups to finish mid table, yeah good strategy lmao

This thread is full of it today, so much nonsense in here 😂
I didn’t say that- I just think there is a lot of value in league performance, always. We are really bad right now, and we’ve been getting pumped by actual good teams injuries or not. We are not going to be winning any cups, injuries or not.

I see that you will all ride this car until it crashes. So be it. Enjoy.

Think it's a fine line between deserving to win or not but we def didn't deserve to lose.

And I know that means you and ur friends will come back with some sarcy comment based around that but I'll live with it.

This is a defeatist mentality and pretty typical of our fanbase, we have a lot of losers as fans and you come across like the typical SAPS no offence.

Whilst I appreciate the food doom mongering to say that we have no chance of winning is bullshit which is manifested by our fanbase because they're not used to winning, it's also a trope said by rival fans in order to mock us.

At the end of the day we are on one of the favs to win the EL, it's a cup comp so you don't even need to be the best to win it, you just have to have enough on the day

2 things can be true by the way, there's a world out there where you can think they we get some players back on the pitch and even if you're Ange out we could even have a new manager in charge to the point where you can improve in both competitions, not just one.

But your assertation of calling the domestic and EL Cups as Mickey Mouse collar is stupid, your alternative scenario of winning the league and the CL isn't possible or realistic, any Spurs fans that says that is a loser sorry.

*shrugs* Sure man, we didn’t deserve to lose. I honestly don’t think it matters. We don’t get a lot of what we apparently deserve. We are impotent in the final third and make silly errors at the back.

You don't get it do you?? you really don't?

We have gained five points from a possible 24 (DLLWLLDL). To put that into perspective Ipswich have picked up 7 in that period, Wolves 7, Everton 6. Only Leicester with 4 and Southampton have picked up less.

If we do as the original poster (something that you cosigned) suggests and rotate for the league games to prioritise the cup games because the league is "irrelevant" there is a good chance we will be in a relegation fight and might actually get relegated.

It's the most thick as pig shit idea I've ever heard and you praised the man's "clear head" after reading it.
