I disagree. I didn’t mention good faith, just said that a nice benefit of Ange doing well, apart from the obvious success of the club we support, is the fact that a few keyboard warriors have to swallow they were wrong.
And from what I see, there’s one group, which you quaintly refer to as the “mate mafia” who argue that they can see something here. We get players back from injury, we may may see the top performances come. But results must improve.

You can't have it all. With Ange we can be quite entertaining for a neutral. If you don't care about losing, Ange is great.

The media doesn't help. They tend to cover everything around football like personalities, injuries, and transfer window rumors, but they don't do a good job reporting on what happens in a football match. I honestly believe most of the paid journalists who cover Spurs started off jumping on the "Big Ange" bandwagon. Now when things aren't going well and they have seen "Bad Ange" emerge they are scared to ask him questions he might not like.
