I think we should agree to disagree yet again but I appreciate the conversation as always Rich. You’re a good man and ultimately I know you love this football club, that’s all that really matters at the end of the day.

He brings his arm in to his body and he doesn't directly score or assist. This has been clarified on Ref Watch as well as the Joelinton 'elbow' and also the penalty shout and second yellow for Burn stuff,all viewed as correct decisions by the on field team.

I think we got the rough side of a couple of close calls and Ange was understandably frustrated. None of these calls were remotely scandalous.

He’s brought his hand to the ball and it’s not a natural position for that movement from a biomechanics perspective.

Yeah. This is also the problem I am having defending him. Rationally he has been shit for a year now, injuries or not.

As for the closed thread, I have no doubt he will probably manage a Saudi team next, be successful, then the season after a team below us that will leapfrog us. Of the ilk of West Ham.

If I thought he intended to handball it I'd say I thought he intended to handball it. I don't. Nor did the referee. Or the VAR team. Or the referee on ref watch .. or most people it would seem, to be honest. Quite a few don't like the rule or don't understand the rule, but very few think he meant to handball it.

I think we were unfortunate victims of an annoying technicality in the law as ultimately it did hit a hand and that did help lead to a goal. I don't think we are victims of a conspiracy ... that's where we differ and where we will always differ.

Uh he might struggle to do that when he was directly asked about it and said that he was very, very angry and that his players had been 'denied' the right result for their play. Not sure you can make that about the injury crisis. He then said with fair and logical decision processes we win.

I imagine he'll get off with a telling off since its a first offence.

If that's in the penalty box I'd rate it 90% chance that penalty would be given. Defenders know this too, which is why we see them with their hands behind their backs in the "police arrest" position, which is NOTHING like a "natural position" to avoid handball.

He does nothing to avoid ball to hand contact. In fact his arm goes towards the ball.

There would not be single club that would agree with that call if it went against them.

There have been loads of similar handball cases not given this season alone ... the only handballs being given are generally for ones like De Ligt where he's thrown his arm UP in to the air.

Does nothing to avoid ball to hand contact? Jesus, I'd love to fire a ball at some of you at that speed from that distance and see you dodge it, Neo mate.

Probably not, almost like clubs are self interested parties. Not sure that proves anything.
