If we want Muani, I'd put him on the LW and cancel Werner's loan. He has the pace and power + the dribbling ability to do so. Admittedly, he is a decent passer as well. My main gripe with Muani is the mental side to him - Decision making and the ability to be a consistent finisher are big question marks. With Rashford I have the same concerns. But both would probably raise the floor.

If Araujo wants to leave Barca, that is one I'd be all over. Proper leader and mountain of a CB, with pace. Van de Ven would probably have to play LB though. But even then, its not like these players will all be fit throughout the whole season anyway, so why not go big?

I doubt Douglas Luiz will be available anymore, but thats another opportunity we could be all over. He is an excellent passer and decent off the ball, something we are missing drastically in our midfield

I still think RW is our biggest need though, I'm curious to see who the club will sign there. Needs to be a left footer
 
Kolo Muani will not help us against low blocks lol. He is NOT a dribbly winger nor is he talented with vision and timing.

People who are expecting that from him will be sorely disappointed. Genuinely think the closest comp in world football to RKM is already on our squad - his name is Richarlison.
 
Our best players who are still fit needed a rest today they are being run into the ground . History repeating itself again as I see it .

Our best 1-11 can give anyone a game we then have about 4 players who can step in if the injuries are in their position . That gives us a decent 1-15 if everyone is fit which will never happen , but right now is a crisis, worst run of injuries I can remember. Not surprised we are looking to replace our medical team.

16-25 are either not good enough or kids who are not yet ready , not everyone is a Gray or Bergvall and can make their kind of impact . This lack of decent squad depth has been an issue for donkey’s years . It will not get sorted in January but needs to.be addressed in the next 3 windows , it would be criminal to not go for it with the young talent we have .

We all know it won’t happen though
 
RW is our biggest need but that market is brutal.

The best option would be to play Kulu there, allow him to cut inside but have Porro play more of a natural outside fullback.
 
I wonder if the recruitment team have been looking at Sem Steijn - 23 year attacking central midfielder at Twente. He’s racked up 15 goals and 4 assists in the Dutch top flight this season.

Steijn is on fire with 15 goals as AMF and previous season 17 in 34 matches, but: FC Twente is not Ajax or PSV ( or Feyenoord if we talk about the 'top 3'. I guess Steijn would be 'to light' for the Premier League. The Dutch Premier League is easier to play without powerhouses.
After Vincent Janssen Spurs would not take players of the Eredivisie or they most be the best of the league and proven in European competitions. Like Vertonghen and Eriksen. More recent example is Gakpo: after 1-2 seasons he is just going to shine.

I'm partial to Paixão at Feyenoord. I think that he'd be a hit here.
