The dynamics moving forward now are going to be fascinating.

Does Ange walk knowing he's not going to get backed in January when he clearly needs better players?

Does Ange walk when he's given the big I am about winning silverware in his second season?

Would Levy sack Ange now only to bring in Mason which he knows would be a toxic decision for the fanbase?

Levy can't even back a new manager NOW with only 15 days left in the window.

Real rock between a hard place sort of stuff now.

Ange isn't going to walk and miss out on millions, what are you on about?

I can forgive losing at their ground. Just. But I can’t forgive the lack of desire last night.

Considering where both teams are in the league, the form each is in and how both teams played, a 2-1 defeat was a fantastic result. And it’s horrible to think that. Expectations are through the floor for me now.

The general passiveness that really grinds my gears.

Like, we know that he can make tactical shifts like he did against Liverpool in the cup. But for some reason he doesn't do it in every game were it doesn't work. He just stands on the sideline with his hands in his pockets and looks grouchy and makes some like for like substitutions.

He isn't fighting for the players, he's not making noise on the sideline or getting at it with the referees. I don't understand why the players can fight for him at this point because he isn't backing them to be the best that they can be.

Exactly. That should be the final nail in Ange's coffin. The fact he brought a team to a NLD that played like that. Unforgivable. Just wtf was his team talk? Even in the awful 90s, we turned up and had more determination to get a result than we did last night.

The players are not playing for him. Tamworth and last night tells us that. Anyone who thinks the players are still playing for Ange are deluded. This isn't the sign of players in tune with their manager. They might like him, but no fucking way are they performing for him. We turned up at Tamworth with no desire or motivation, same last night.

And anyone who keeps going on about the league cup. We aren't winning it.

This team has not a hope in hell of even drawing at Anfield. They will batter us. So all this nonsense about Ange should get until then, no fucking way. We fluked a win against them at home when they had a massive off day. They will steamroller us. I reckon it'll be 4 nil or some shit. I can't see how anyone can watch this team and think we will make it to the final.

Same with the other cups. We are far too shit to win a trophy. Shit teams like us don't win trophies.

I can’t forgive 4 losses in 4 to them and last night I didn’t see one naughty tackle, I didn’t see one dive to try and get one of them sent off, I didn’t see anyone try anything special to write there name into the history of this fixture. Just a load of weak, robotic, soulless float.

I sort of can forgive four losses, if we go down swinging. I don’t give a shit if the players are tired or not. Fucking kick some cunt. Busy a gut to get to the ball. At least look interested and you may fool someone.

My point is you can't use net spend with a stick to beat him with knowing that we lost one of the best players in the world in the process.
You can't use any stick about money or the players to beat him.
No one knows who identifies the players or who buys them.
No one can tell me Ange has got backed by the club, the squad is the worse we have had in 10 years.

We went down swinging in 1 of those 4 games and it was only Romero who went down swinging.

Baffles me that cunts on here would be happy to sell one of the very few fighters we have at this wet fish of a football club

A few caveats are in order - the squad is average, I honestly think it's a top eight squad, nothing more; it needs major surgery.

However even allowing for that Ange is underperforming - three things seem clear to me, two of them undisputable at this stage:

1. Ange wants to play front-foot, attacking football, all the time
2. Ange and his team cannot (or are entirely unwilling to) organise a defence
3. There is no in game management to any serious level (and this is more debatable, I think)

Two and three make his position untenable.

Also don't get the cult around him - one to one he might be an OK guy, I don't know, but he comes over as prickly, arrogant, sullen and boorish; entirely unable to take on board different views and opinions. I get the impression of a strong-willed guy who has managed to impose his personality at a lower level, but when more sophistication is needed, he's found wanting.

Anyway, give him 'til Liverpool CC 2nd leg, then if we're booted out a caretaker can come in to the end of the season. Mason, Doris the Tea Lady, Levy's secret lovechild, fuck knows any more.
