Munn should be looking at another manage now.

Despite out position, transfer budget (which is still fourth/fifth) highest in the PL and Levy's reputation would still attract some quite capable candidates.

I would certainly put Iraola at the top of the list, but hope that whomever comes in clears the deck with any of the current coaches including Mason.
Munn’s the reason we have Ange in the first place and should be nowhere near the decision for a replacement.

It should be Lange’s decision as Technical Director, and I have more faith in him to get the appointment correct.

Maybe. It’s such a strange one. I do recall him suddenly turning it all back on for Mourinho’s first game and then it was petulant and back-heels and couldn’t play in the structure that was asked.

No question the decline began before, but I perceived the ‘not caring/ not managing it’ coincided with Mourinho (same as Eriksen). However, could just as easily have been the impact of COVID or his own many demons.

I'm not talking about covid or "demons" (although the latter has been a constant for him even in brighter times; that's how it works).......

At aged just 24 (!!!) he complained that his body couldn't "do what it used to do"..... He played the entire WC18 (22 y/o) strapped up and on pain killers and likely never got over it.

Sure he tried to fight back and prove Jose wrong about being a "party boy" and "lazy", but as you say that upswing didn't (couldn't?) last.

“It’s like watching a kids academy game “ that’s from Carragher , I don’t have a clue what we were trying to do in that first half or where anyone was playing and the players looked the same . Why would we play 3 at the back when Calvert Lewin plays as a lone striker . Week by week we look worse and worse . Get someone in that can organise us and make us hard to beat before it’s too late .

Yeah. I don't have a lot of time for Carragher, but you do get a lack of defensive cohesion when attempting to coach U17 or acadamy football - it is normally an end to end basketball game of inconsistency, so I can see his point here.

The problem with Ange is that he already did figure it out temporarily and miraculously in previous matches and still kept changing everything and losing. I used to praise him for taking responsibility saying it was his fault, but now I realise he is clueless and he cannot be consistent.

I can't watch this shit knowing that we'll have random disorganised kids at the back being told to pass it out and put us two or three down against any basic PL opposition. Running around like headless chickens and it is utterly sad.

No team should have to rely on getting referee decisions - the mistakes do tend to even out in the long-run. We should have been much more aggressive (in tackles, pressing etc. from the get-go) rather than than letting them enjoy space and time all afternoon.

They don't.... Crucial moments are called that for a reason.

We've had a couple of lucky calls vs Liverpool of late...... You think they make up for the BS penalty in the CL final?

Absolutely not.

(Not just us either... You see it with other clubs too...... )
