One guess is that there may actually be some form of negotiations on going for new investment/part takeover in the club and that the other parties have requested that there is no change in manager until negotiations are over.

If you had any doubts that Levy doesn’t give a fuck about this club, now you have proof. Sitting 15th in the table with actual relegation form and his reaction is "we’re backing this mess". Like what does he imagine will happen? We get our main players back and we steer away from bottom half? What if the likes of Romero or VDV pick more injuries after they come back?

There is not a single doubt in my mind that the board have already had at least one crisis meeting and almost certainly would have had another one last night or early this morning. It's just a matter of when over the next 2 weeks he'll be gone. Probs a ton of paperwork that needs to be addressed to get someone in for a stop gap. I imagine they'll sack him just before or just after the Leicester game.
