He didn’t rush back Romero, he had recovered from a broken toe when he was back playing. Agree he’s to blame with VdV.

Levy and ENIC have to take the lions share of the blame. Fans need to focus on the real issue. 12 months time we’ll all be turning on the new manager again

Like I said, if relegation wasn't even an outside chance I'd agree.

But this is different. We need a short term change just to get through this season.

There's coaching the team but then there's management, and that was a brutally costly error of management.

And you can see he's trying to correct, perhaps over-correct with the returning Richy.

Subbing Richarlison was probably the right call. I don't like to judge managers based on subs because they have more info than we do.

But his management has been objectively awful. Having a goal difference of 10 and being 15th makes no sense and to me that can only be down to really bad management.

If we're being serious about this, the Premier League graveyard is littered with teams who decided they just needed to shut things down at the back to stay up.

That's a superstition, it's not reality.

If we try to change everything on the fly with no fit players it could get very scary very fast.

I'm scared already. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

I've seen Southampton this season, Burnley last season. It doesn't guarantee you stay up but it increases the likelihood playing defensively. Which is why most teams do it.
