We're running headlong into uncomfortable and rarely spoken of truths with regards to human psychology. People are stubborn and illogical- they stick with what they feel is true, and their feelings are nothing more than a chaotic recollection of flawed pattern recognition systems reviewing isolated snapshots of emotionally significant moments in their lives. This the bit that kills me. I know I've lost my temper and I apologise for that. But it's the amount of effort that went into trying to convince supposedly sensible people about why 'Angeball ' would not could never work. It was so obvious so apparently flawed so illiterate that arguing with dummies possed of heat maps metrics, flows, stats about player availability. Its been maddening.
The way the man sees football is idiotic having Nesta Maldini Ronaldinho R9 and King and Van Der Ven prime and unhurt still wouldn't win an EPL. He is just not very bright horribly over promoted and drowning. We need to move past this mistake and quickly.
It's far better if we just leave these people alone. Rather than actively resisting what makes them uncomfortable they might naturally come to a place of better understanding on their own, somehow.
