Get them to fucking defend properlyWhat will the next manager do with the current squad and owners?
Jol didn't, Redknapp didn't.To be fair, our previous managers had a rather special goal machine that got them out of many a lousy situation. It would be disingenuous to suggest Ange wouldn't be in a better position if he had Kane. That man papered over chronic under investment in the playing side for far too many years. If Levy had realise how much so he would have asked for double.
Problem with that is the damage may well be irreparable by then.I won't be surprised if there's a clause that will lessen the compensation if the team ever dropped to 16th or 17th. Then Levy will fire the shot.
That's fine, and if that's what's needed so be it.start playing a sensible system ...geared to not losing games... slowly move up the league... hows that for starters.....
It would still be 2 home clean sheets in 16 months. The manager is a joke, he cant set up a side and has surrounded himself with random average coaches. Kane might have us up a place or two max, but thats about it. He'd probably be injured by now anyway trying to play this absurd, schoolboy footballTo be fair, our previous managers had a rather special goal machine that got them out of many a lousy situation. I don’t think I’ve been attached to a manager since Fergie left Aberdeen! Ange was probably the closest. I liked his not taking bullshit at pressers. I liked his unwillingness to compromise on his tactics. But that’s gone now.
No person is ever bigger than the club (Fergie at Aberdeen the very obvious exception). So we wipe or mouths and move on to the next temp. Because that’s what he’ll be. A temp.
I feel heart sorry for you that Spurs offer you apathy now. I have anger and feel let down and it does ruin my next couple of days. Sitting here with a couple of dozen WhatsApp messages that I’m not going to open until Tuesday because I know what they’ll say.
Maybe apathy is better than tantrum? Dunno.
Whoever made that deal with a so shite a hopeless manager shoud be sackedCunts “only” on 5m a year and he was given a 4 year contract. I’m sure it’s like £12m tops. It would have cost more to sack Poch and Jose. Which is probably the crux of the issue.
But yeah, let’s shot the bed for £12m and watch how much money we lose by dropping to the championship. It’s more than £12m.
Has to be a goonerBloke on 5 Live "100% Ange in". And he's a Spurs fan. These people are mental.
They are both real stories - the dugout is just a tweet whereas the ownership is a novelThat's fine, and if that's what's needed so be it.
But the reality is there will always be an under pressure manager to be a scapegoat when things aren't going well. That will ALWAYS be a potential focus and relief valve.
So please spare some patience for those of us more focused on the larger picture of one of the richest clubs on the planet, wringing more money out of its supporters than anyone else, while having no intent to ever compete for anything.
You can always make the dugout the story if you want to, which means always ignoring the real story.
Neither is losing every game a way to guide them through this difficult time. I could fucking do that.“Players are giving everything” is no hiding place. As it either means. They are giving everything but are not good enough or much worse they have set a culture that it’s alright to lose as long as you try. It’s not.
Imagine a winning club with that sort of attitude? Actually imagine a winning club where the under 23 squad are 50% first team starters.
Wankers from Levy downwards.
it's actually the most infuriating thing about the whole Ange situation how he is navigating his way through it by twisting reality. He says the exact things needed to hang on to his job, all the 'we're in great position to achieve something exceptional this year' (in the cups- so you can't sack me before I'm out of cups), 'the club is working hard', 'the players are back soon' (don't sack me before they are back) and the worst of all the 'helping players get through this tough period' (as to make it like the results are irrelevant and all it matters is poor things survive having to play fucking football games at all)Get the team properly organised for a start. Ange doesn’t understand or respect the basics of football at the elite level.
He is getting away with murder because he can speak fluent English and can do the PR stuff. Imagine if he were Pepe Mel or Claude Puel or some other random European manager with a silly accent getting the same results. He’d be laughed at and would have got sacked months ago. He has no business working at this level but he talks a good game and doesn’t have a go at Levy so he gets to stay on the gravy train.

I think it was Shady
Even Shady is done at this point I think
This is more on Battlefield Earth’s level.
I think your inquisitor is on my block list. manmountainbutters made my mind up not bothering with the fake Ange in mob. But if anyone asks what will the next man do? The answer as you say is simple. COACH. Ange doesn’t meet this most basic requirement.Get the team properly organised for a start. Ange doesn’t understand or respect the basics of football at the elite level.

I'm tired of people acting like you need to spend 500m to be able to teach players how to defend
