Higher than 15th like every single other manager does.

Now, maybe things have changed and it is true that this is the new normal under these owners.. But first things first.. When every other manager has done vastly better. Let's assume that'll be the case until we're shown otherwise..

That's not to say priority number one isn't new owners.. But what can be done? We can't vote them out in an election. And we can't magic up a buyer with 5/6 billion on hand to buy the club with more to invest
To be fair, our previous managers had a rather special goal machine that got them out of many a lousy situation. It would be disingenuous to suggest Ange wouldn't be in a better position if he had Kane. That man papered over chronic under investment in the playing side for far too many years. If Levy had realise how much so he would have asked for double.

The dickhead's new line is 'it wasn't that long ago that we beat Liverpool and it was a great night'.

Absolute fucking fraud. Beat a Dippers side that spent the first half playing at a walking pace and who will put three past us in the first 15 minutes at Anfield.

He is such a cunt. I can't stand him.

Get out of my football club.

Cunts “only” on 5m a year and he was given a 4 year contract. I’m sure it’s like £12m tops. It would have cost more to sack Poch and Jose. Which is probably the crux of the issue.

But yeah, let’s shot the bed for £12m and watch how much money we lose by dropping to the championship. It’s more than £12m.
I won't be surprised if there's a clause that will lessen the compensation if the team ever dropped to 16th or 17th. Then Levy will fire the shot.

Jol didn't, Redknapp didn't.
And it's not like scoring has been the biggest issue either.

start playing a sensible system ...geared to not losing games... slowly move up the league... hows that for starters.....
That's fine, and if that's what's needed so be it.

But the reality is there will always be an under pressure manager to be a scapegoat when things aren't going well. That will ALWAYS be a potential focus and relief valve.

So please spare some patience for those of us more focused on the larger picture of one of the richest clubs on the planet, wringing more money out of its supporters than anyone else, while having no intent to ever compete for anything.

You can always make the dugout the story if you want to, which means always ignoring the real story.

It would still be 2 home clean sheets in 16 months. The manager is a joke, he cant set up a side and has surrounded himself with random average coaches. Kane might have us up a place or two max, but thats about it. He'd probably be injured by now anyway trying to play this absurd, schoolboy football

I don’t think I’ve been attached to a manager since Fergie left Aberdeen! Ange was probably the closest. I liked his not taking bullshit at pressers. I liked his unwillingness to compromise on his tactics. But that’s gone now.

No person is ever bigger than the club (Fergie at Aberdeen the very obvious exception). So we wipe or mouths and move on to the next temp. Because that’s what he’ll be. A temp.

I feel heart sorry for you that Spurs offer you apathy now. I have anger and feel let down and it does ruin my next couple of days. Sitting here with a couple of dozen WhatsApp messages that I’m not going to open until Tuesday because I know what they’ll say.

Maybe apathy is better than tantrum? Dunno.

Wish I had the answer mate.

Just remember how far from this it was under Poch.

If I’m honest, it’s not just Spurs where the apathy comes from, it’s English football in general.

Is there an honest Spurs fan who really feels like it’s ever going to be our turn to win? Any hope that the stadium was going to bring about a change in fortunes is surely long past believing that?
