Just seen this angle of it.

I’d suggest this was more a guy being asked by a steward not to lean over, the guy responded “fuck off” and that’s what Ange reacted to. Just by the angle the fuck off came from and the fact Ange looked in that direction. If he was reacting to “you’re taking us down”it was the world’s slowest reaction.

All a bit JFK Grassy Knoll, but my tuppenceworth anyway.

Mate, he shouldn’t be reacting at all, it’s yet again another example of insecurity aimed towards supporters.

Ange was likely reacting to the fact he thought someone told him he could “fuck off” I am absolutely not buying this nice guy trying to protect the steward angle.

This behaviour tracks with him, we have seen it numerous times now and if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck etc.

That's incredibly generous. To me it sounded like the guy was saying "He can fuck off" which is more likely to be about Ange than the steward anyway. In any case, I don't think that 'fuck off' is loud enough to be heard from under the tunnel, and at that point Ange will have already turned around. It will have been about the ''take us down" comment, because that's what it always is with him. It's not like he hasn't had altercations with hecklers before.

It’s a fucking embarrassing reaction.

Note that he *always* punches down - the fans, Timo Werner etc.

Textbook bullying prick.

Still should beat fecking Leicester.

Of course that's not my point. I'm talking bigger picture - any new manager is going to need GOALS to get us out of this mess. As well as tightening us up at the back.

We might be getting Romero and VDv back over next 10 days but they aren't going go to score the goals we need. The moment Solanke and BJ went down was absolute red light claxon shit -

Not doing himself any favours by reacting.

Nothing to gain from throwing a wobbly with an upset fan.

I have never seen a manager clash with his fans like this. There have been managers who have been verbally abused and they take it. Its part of the job when results are bad. What is to be gained from clashing with the fans? ou cant win a fight with the fans

Its League Cup or bust. literally, win the League Cup or its over.

Think now is the time to give him a new 5year contract.

Show the players and all around the club this is our guy long term.

He’s earned it, remember when he had our squad all fit those first 10 games last season.

I don't know what's going to happen over the next couple of days.. All I know is that if I see an article from Alisdair Gold or Matt Law tomorrow where they've been briefed "no change of plan" or "complete support", I'll be sick.

You cannot start every week with, "The result at the weekend is very important. There's an awareness that results need to improve immediately" Only for us to end every week with a shit result... and then start the next week with, "The result at the weekend is very important. There's an awareness that results need to improve immediately"

It’s over already for me and has been for over a year now!

Clueless, Classless, Cunt!

The odd thing is I don't think the loss today moves the needle for Postecoglou's supporters. They will just attribute it to the injuries and not getting transfers in. The board probably wants desperately to keep him until he can possibly win a cup. I don't think they'll do anything until they are sure silverware is an impossibility.

It shouldn't even get that far. Why does he "deserve" these cup games? The league is your bread and butter - the results have been beyond bad for months now. You have to play the same standard of team at the end of these competitions, and we've proven that we can't deal with ANY opposition. I don't understand how he's been given such a soft ride by a section of the fan base and leadership, I really don't.

The general cup results haven't even been good. We've been good in one competiton which is the league cup. In the FA cup we played Tamworth and were embarrassing, in the EL we've played essentially absolutely nobody of any note and struggled every time we have.

Essentially some league cup wins are saving his season. Which is batshit crazy.
