I think he has been good on the kids. Bergvall, Gray, Odoburt all look talented. It’s the lack of seniors that is the issue although without knowing Lange’s remit (ie is he just brought in to get young players) hard to know:
yeah thats true. The club can hide behind the young players and this idea of it being a "Long Term" project. Problem is most fans can see through this charade as we've been here before and never kicked on
Can 100% see this and the next window being Dibling, Angel Gomes on a free and a left sided defender. Wouldnt surprise me if they bought one of those forward to this month. Maybe a replacement for Romero in the summer if he goes. With no European football that will be about it. They'll sell Bissouma with Forster, Davies and Werner out of contract.

You can make 3 changes, so we could take out, say Forster, Odobert and Werner and add in Djed and 2 new players. And that's only the case for Europe which we're unlikely to be in next season and might only have 4 games if we make the QFs. For the Premier League we have 2 spaces free for over 21s without having to take anybody out, 3 if you unregister Max Robson. We don't need to be looking specifically at HG or U21 players at this stage.

In regards to the other two they'll find buyers but the fact that they have to sell two extremely talented players in order to bring players in is not a position i would want us to be in.

Lange is obviously not being given the required funds to buy players. I bet he’s got a list as long as his arm and we are refusing to match fees and wages.
Honestly, I don't actually think we need that much.
Those three additions, coupled with a manager that isn't intent on destroying his players and can actually put together a functioning team/system, and there's a lot to work with. No Europe could be beneficial, but on the flip side gives less opportunity to keep the whole squad up to speed and happy.
Then again, might be a 46 game league season for us so lots of chance to rotate.
