You then tried to point score by accusing me of stating i didn't rate Garnacho previously which was FALSE. When realising you made an error you decided to lead the discussion in another direction in which you asked if i would be happy if we signed Garnacho in which i responded . You then decided to ask a secondary question about Garnachos talents in which i answered again. Then you ignore the answer and start talking about people being stubborn and point scoring.

This situation is terrible but you only sack the manager if you can bring in someone better. Otherwise you have sacked him just to prove a point or be petulant.

If there’s no better option then you don’t sack him to get a worse outcome.

What is worth preserving? Results in the cups have been excellent and we’ve beaten some big teams (particularly in the carabao where we’ve beaten both Manchester clubs and Liverpool). but also in the EL where we’re on course for a top 8 finish.

We don’t have much chance of winning a cup this season but sticking with Ange is our best chance. I’m still clinging to the small hope he could do a Juande Ramos.

I think he's sifting through the fag ends of his reputation now, he isnt getting another job in any decent league and it has to be close to him not getting another one in a crap league. Probably thinks a league cup win might salvage whatever is left of his career for another 2 or 3 years at some backwater somewhere.

At least that sh!t will be off the eternal dream world that many on here inhabit.

Nothing like hope instead of Soma to keep people wafting in La La land.

And still we wait for the club spin to roll out some more lies about targets etc.

If that happens, at least I’ll have felt optimistic up until the time that it has happened,

If you are Spurs fan there’s always an excuse to get soaked up in self pity and doom mongering. There’s always someone telling why you should as well.

Fuck all that. It’s all bollox anyway, we can be as “realistic” as we like, won’t protect us from shit feeling of losing. Only thing we can do make a conscious decision to be positive about it.

You know how I support the team? By travelling four hours plus each way for every home game and singing and cheering them on.

But please, do tell me how ignoring reality on a fucking internet forum provides extra support? I suppose when your total "support" comes to logging into a forum and watching on TV it allows you be safely smug and superior.

No I'm pointing out you are trying to defend Levy for doing something right in keeping Ange . Well that is fine, except it means you should be critical in the extreme of his managerial hirings and firings overall . Right from the start Hoddle for Graham was trading down not up, not that it upset me mind you . Plenty of managerial changes since have been just as crap but without the emotional defence of shifting a gooner for a legend .

Your metric of why not to sack a manager actually makes the argument Levy is a clown in my view, because he does the opposite normally for what you are trying to praise him for

Edit: I have now switched to Ange out , held on to hoping he could sort it for way to long

It won't happen, but it would be a disaster if it did.
We'd be in the Championship, we'd lose all our players and then have to play Real Madrid in the Champions League, with a bunch of lower league dross.
And levy would probably give Ange a 10 year contract if we won 3 cups.

Some sort of song about being the only team ever to play in the CL from the Championship.
