Transfers January Transfer Thread 24/25

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Players may come for money to a large extent but also into a clear philosophy, be that club or manager, and to look at players that have improved as a result.

Yeah, good luck with that.

An unreal scenario seemingly being allowed to play out by the roll of a dice and statistical likelihood.

Excellent article.

"They are the beans of a man who isn’t even remotely close to the middle ground between extreme caution and recklessness. The beans of an executive who could sign three high-tier players on £250,000 a week, £39m a year combined, and still be within 50 per cent of turnover. Levy should be embarrassed by those beans. They are the beans of institutional cowardice"

Note to Lange ... include a January break clause for all players we loan out in future. If we'd brought back the likes of Abbott, Devine, Donley, and Solomon, maybe we could have rotated key players before they got injured, or at least had players with some first team experience on the bench in key games. There is a big difference between bringing on a 20-year old Donley or Donley and 17-year old Olusesi. Abbott captained our U21s to the PL2 title mainly playing at RB, and woudl be better than a clearly overplayed, playing on fumes, Porro is right now.

I avoid all the chatter now ever since that blogger said the decades old MO of the club to put out "Spurs are interested in/in talks/agreed terms with the player" are just memes to keep the customers interested.
I never used to believe it thinking it was difficult to seal deals but this bloke said it costs Levy nothing to put out puff pieces.

Hasn’t T Ashley Philips got a break clause?

is this the level of signings we are going to attempt in the summer?

We fucking need proven players ffs. Wtf is wrong with these absolute helmets?
Dibbling would be a great signing. No doubt he’s going to be top player, even now he’s got elite ball retention. Would be ready to start and contribute straight away.

Gomes not convinced by at all going by those England games. Plays the way he’s facing and kills a lot of momentum and combinations because of it.
