Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Look, it's clear what's going on here.

COYS Daniel is leaving everything to the last possible minute so he can frantically spend Monday evening closing deals at 11pm and claim insane amounts of overtime.

:levylol:

feel like there wont be anything today, still i assume levy will be in on Thursday night. I'd have thought he'd want to the heat off his shiny boiled egg head to just a little bit that night with a couple statement signings. but then again i expected the same last week after being thrashed by Everton

He's thick skinned, i'll give him that

Iraola is doing well right now. The season isn’t over yet and he’s yet to win anything - as a player or a coach. All I’m saying is I’d want to evaluate our next coach on more than being the latest trend. He’s hot right now but still very much building his CV and let’s face it, it’s a very early stages CV. I hope he continues building on it. If he gets top 4 with Bournemouth that’s probably a big tick next to his name but still not a trophy.

Iraola and Ange are two separate things to consider. Ange is in position, Iraola isn’t.

We are 15th right now, you cold use that logic to say 14 premier league managers should be our next manager. Doesn’t mean I’d want all of them if we sack Ange today.
You're being daft now, I'd take any if the full 19 others...

Great, but under this coach we play through our 6 too, you’ve seen how shambolic we are when Bentancur or any of the others play the 6. We can’t string three passes together.

Other top clubs have similar issues too, it’s why Rice was bought to play single pivot 6 but doesn’t, why Sarri ball swapped the 6 and 8 around (and Jorginho does the same at Woolwich) Chelsea paid 250m for three CM’s who can all play some football too.

I love a busy cunt, think every team should have one, but we need one that can play football too (press resistant and can move out of pressure with the ball and pass under pressure)

You have a lot of faith we're going to stick with Ange?

I envisage a future that the club may want to look past Ange, either way we still need a profile like this as it's evidently clear we have a soft centre.

You refresh the page or log in, in the hope there is news, in the same way that when you see rapidly in the page number in games, you hope it's a goal in our favour.

Not many of us would be using our energy in such a way of yearning if we were 5th or 6th,which this squad, based on objectivity should be.

Now we are asking for a different type of player to help address a needy we didn't think we would have.

And seemingly hoping against hope because of a gaping hole in the minds of Levy and Lange. Bloody L or L's Bells.

I guess we were wrong. Both of us thought the prospect of relegation would sharpen the mind, apparently not so. We go down, then it’s fine. Clearly the football side of the club isn’t as important as it should be.

Ww appear to have been wrong. You are right. I could not see is not moving quickly, call that panic or recognition but I thought we would move at pace. Others disagreed. They seem to have been right.

I really do not think we will go down but if we are completely sucked into a fight and have brought no one in I might be forced to reassess.

Regardless it's shameful.

It isn’t evidentially clear, very few of our goals are the fault of our 6. Much more are the fault of lax defending by forwards, FB’s and the system.

But I have nothing against bringing in a busy Cunt, it just won’t change the issues.

Bringing in some white foods who can actually work without the ball and a fallback or two who can actually defend as well as more than just one senior Centre back which solve more of these problems and changing our 6

Matt thank you for saying that about Rashford. I'm not a fan of the player but he's a young man and to me he looks bloody miserable. I know he is luckier than millions of people because he can access care. But history is littered with wealthy dead young men who just buckled and hated themselves.

On football he'd be another mistake a slight improvement on Werner makes zero sense we need to be bold and offer top money for quality players, convince an Oshimen that it's a new day and that he is the first of many. It would be a message to everyone.
Poor people always think wealthy people should just be happy. But there is no link between money and happiness. If something makes you unhappy, money can't stop it happening.
I hope he gets his head sorted and either gets back to his best or finds something that makes him happy. But I don't want us getting in bed with him.

I wouldn't even say he's much of an improvement on Werner right now. At least Werner is a willing, hard working player.

I'm not looking at just purely goals conceded, our general play is just lacking a dominant and switched on 6 and a ball winner in the middle of the pitch, it's so obvious.

Bentancur doesn't scan before he receives the ball or read the play properly and leaves gaps, Bissouma does this but he's so inconsistent he can go from a 8/10 to a 2/10.

That article from a few days ago where the club briefed that this window is made especially difficult, because our position in the league makes it harder to sign the calibre of player we would want to.. Is more annoying, the more you think about it.

Don't act like we'd ordinarily try and sign players like Kvaratskhelia, Isak, Nico Williams or Osimhen..

We sign teenagers with a few games under their belt from the Swedish League, the South Korean League or the Second Division. At a push we'll sign a forward from Bournemouth.. Now, I like pretty much all of those players very much.. But we didn't need to be fighting for a title to attract them let's be honest..So how has league position got anything to do with it?
