Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

United reportedly lose 10M of their Adidas deal every year they aren't in the Champions League.

Even now there is a deep well of legacy goodwill there from a commercial/sponsor perspective (still a massive global fanbase), but that is still a badly overpriced squad lacking in sufficient quality, and while a new stadium effort doesn't count against PSR/FFP, it's still a major challenge.

They're in trouble, there's no question about it.

Spurs just lack a chairman willing to strike on a golden period of opportunity.

Honestly, I’m not buying it that Tel only wants UTD. If it was City then fair enough but UTD just sounds like agent talk trying to influence the market.

Could well be that United are telling him he's the first name on the team sheet and Spurs are telling him he might move positions once Dom gets back. Tel is leaving Bayern in the first place because they won't let him lead the line every week.

Ange has seemed to be a reasonably good recruiter, but he's honest, whereas United is always a bullshit factory.

He literally talks about injuries. The fact is Postenoclue has made it ok to lose to anyone because he has the ultimate excuse or is injuries. What does he say to the team when you constantly excusing yourself a loss because of injuries.

Also tells the players it is ok to lose. The manager is a major factor in our losses and making half arsed excuses is only making it worse.

He forgot to say at the end of that, "As long as we stay within our strict financial parameters which are self imposed by me, Daniel COYS".

Hotel build costs will be funded by banks - they like property to lend against which .can produce income for decades to pay them interest and generate funds to repay loans

Banks do not lend against player purchases - short career life (often 10 years or less if buying an experienced player in their mid 20's) especially if player gets injured.

So building a hotel does not mean diverting club funds from buying players.
Where did I say it did , I said it would come in at way more than originally stated

If I had no affiliation with Spurs and right now had to choose between Utd and Spurs I'd choose Utd too. They are in a mess too but our mess is much worse.

Depends on your development.

If you were a young kid who needed nurturing and improvement then you'd choose Spurs 100%, you're going to get minutes regardless, that's one thing you can say about Spurs, we're an excellent attraction for young players.

Not sure if that's Tel's motivation though, probably sees himself as a starter in most teams.

Fair points.

Utd do have x2 #9s fit and playing though. He can probably see through their bs for himself.

If I’m him I’d also look at what Amorim said about Rashford and ask myself if believe that Rashford doesn’t want to train. If he isn’t sure he believes that, does he want to risk Amorim saying that about him? Especially as a young player.

If I’m Spurs I’d make sure I ask him that question as well.
