AKA they will pay higher wages!

if you're completely neutral as he probably woiuld be regarding the premier league. I think 99% of people are going to choose man united.
A club as big and as famous as Bayern, or that club Harry Kane used to play for. Maybe harry and dier will put in a good word for us.
Still i'd think a club the size of united wouldn't want to pay for the privilege train Bayern's prospects

Fair points.

Utd do have x2 #9s fit and playing though. He can probably see through their bs for himself.

If I’m him I’d also look at what Amorim said about Rashford and ask myself if believe that Rashford doesn’t want to train. If he isn’t sure he believes that, does he want to risk Amorim saying that about him? Especially as a young player.

If I’m Spurs I’d make sure I ask him that question as well.

I'd imagine Tel sees himself comfortably starting over Hojund and Zirkzee who both wouldn't be any better than Richarlison. TBF to Solanke he's a good bit better than all 3 of them and Tel wouldn't fancy trying to oust him

United reportedly lose 10M of their Adidas deal every year they aren't in the Champions League.

Even now there is a deep well of legacy goodwill there from a commercial/sponsor perspective (still a massive global fanbase), but that is still a badly overpriced squad lacking in sufficient quality, and while a new stadium effort doesn't count against PSR/FFP, it's still a major challenge.

They're in trouble, there's no question about it.

Spurs just lack a chairman willing to strike on a golden period of opportunity.
United has a chairman that will buy good players.

This season they have signed Ugarte, Mazroui, De Ligt, Yoro, Zirkzee and Dorgu. And are looking at Tel and Nkunku.

Compare that to our dealings this year, its night and day. 1 more summer window and united will have Osimhen/Gyokeres and 2 or 3 more. They are only missing some goals and a cm.

They have anything but unlimited flexibility under PSR, and I dunno, is that THAT promising a group of signings?

I still watch a United game and am baffled by where all the money went.

Not that impressive list of players

And they are struggling with ffp so won't be able to sign all the players you list

Good thing we recalled Dane Scarlett

Good chance that he’s speaking for the entire squad. They’ve been abandoned
I'm sorry, but this whole outrage over not making signings to cover the injuries is ridiculous now.

Actually thinking about it, how do you suggest we handle the situation? Sign a bunch of fit players and have them replace the injured players in the 25 man squad? Clearly no, as when they are back from injury you want them registered and able to play.

So instead I guess we have them replace the players that are actually fit? And then still have just 10 players fit and available? This one doesn't really make that much sense does it? Even if the signings are higher quality than those they were replacing, you'd still be short on numbers.

There is no signing our way out of this injury mess.
