With the way things are with Spurs right now, manager on verge of sack, 1 win in 11 PL games, why the fuck would he come here?

I’m gonna say it now. Tel would not be enough on his own. Young player, hugely talented, but he’d be adapting to the league and country.

It needs to be Tel and someone like Wissa who can come in and give us PL nouse and be up for the fight straight away. Richy and Wissa would actually be the kind of forwards you need when you’re scrapping for points - big, physical, making defenders’ lives difficult.
 
Tel will not be a Tottenham player. It’s as if time before has never happened and all of a sudden we are going to get players to pick us over Woolwich,Man Utd and Chelsea. Why would he chose us???

I dunno. I find it all hard to believe, especially with the club about to repeat its 18-monthly cycle of manager sacking. I guess we’ll find out in the next day or two

Tel can play anywhere across the front line, he takes our attack up another level.

I think you just need to make allowances for that kind of talent, his potential alone is worth waiting on even if it might take a few matches to acclimatise.

He’s 19 and coming into a new league. The old Wenger line about give them 6 months to adapt still holds true. He could be a superstar for us. But we need goals and some savvy at the top of the pitch now to pick up some points and arrest this slide.
 
Wissa might be more realistic in terms of appealing to the player, but far more unlikely in terms of agreeing a deal with the club.

We are obviously willing to go large and pay what Bayern want for a top young talent, we aren't pushing the boat out for 28 year old Wissa
