Freo here mate. Our fortunes haven’t been as dramatic as yours the last 15 years or so but we’re not far off. At least you have flags, but I guess that’s where the similarities with Spurs are for you. We’ve got a lone McClelland trophy on the mantelpiece from ten years ago.
I can see some similarities between Freo and Spurs too. Both have some absolute young guns who look like tearing it up over the next decade.

Anyway, I forget where we are, Spurs signed anyone yet? Come on you bald cunt help give us poor Aussies something to cheer about.

:ange-arms:

I'm not convinced Wissa starts for us when we've a fully fit team available (if that will ever happen again!). Kulusevski Solanke Son would all start over him. Debatable if he'd be much of an upgrade on Richarlison and Brennan too (when they are on form). Tel would start for us. I think he'd push all 3 close and he'd be well clear of Richarlison and Brennan
Son is finished at this level mate. My prayer is we get an unsentimental manager in the summer who sells him to Saudi for £40m while we can still get that for him off his name value. Wissa would certainly be a stronger option than Son at 9 who offers worse than nothing. Kulu only really plays off the right when he plays wide so not massively relevant, Solanke does likely start at 9 over Wissa but Wissa would very likely start off the left for us even with all fit right now.

Off the strength of what evidence will Tel start for us where Wissa wouldn't? He was pretty underwhelming in the Bayern side that had their worst season in well over a decade last year and has been pushed out of the team completely, he might be shit hot or he might just be shit, let's not pretend he's some sure thing or else he wouldn't be sat on the bench watching Olise gobble up all his minutes at Bayern. I'm aware we're in the mud at the moment and just need bodies in to feed the hamstring meat grinder that is Angeball but Tel represents just as much of a gamble as eg Odobert.

Makes sense I guess!! We really need to be hitting the charm offensive on this one .

Mokbel is basically Woolwich PR. This is him milking his readership imo.

Could be true but I doubt Lange goes to Munich and Tel waves goodbye to fans if he’s still “waiting for formal interest”.

We can offer something no other club can, I think it gives us the edge . Working for Daniel Levy is character building, look how many players have been successful once leaving Spurs . All that success is due to the appalling way our club is run , what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger . So come on Tel are you brave enough to suffer 3 years of abject failure with us for glory elsewhere in the future.
Don't forget go-carting down in the basement after games!
