Technically they need to get agreement with club first who agrees the potential buyer can talk to player.
In practice clubs talk to players agent to get to a 'pro forma' agreement before agreeing with club, otherwise its pointless spending a lot of time with club before player saying 'no chance'

But it does open doors to other clubs offering similar to Munich and then those clubs also talking to Tel.
I think the big difference is that as Spurs fans we know that the money raised from sales won't ever be properly reinvested into the team. I don't think Villa have those same fears considering how astutely they reinvested the Grealish money.

Dibling sounds like loan back probably. Tel even if it’s a loan and someone like Tomori who can cover left centre back are the bodies we need right now while things are a bit shit.
I mean Tel, Dibling, Tomori and Gomes would be amazing and give us the depth we need for 4 competitions and this injury spate but I expect 2 in at best.

I severely doubt it would be structured this way anyway cos the fee for Kane helps us PSR wise in terms of pure profit whereas we can amortise Tel’s fee over the course of his contract, so like 10m a year to PSR.
