Doesn’t look good does it. Feels like it needed to move last night. What can you do. If he doesn’t want to come, he doesn’t want to come. Hoping the £50m gets used elsewhere and doesn’t suddenly disappear.

We don’t know if it did move last night.

Personally think he’s having his medical today and starting vs Brentford

Probably nothing but Redknapp getting into from Harry Kane tells me that maybe Kane knows where Tel is going

We've thrown our hat into the ring, that's all we can ask the club to do. As you say if he doesn't want to come here, he doesn't want to come and we need to move onto somebody else.

Hoping that he sees young players at our club getting big minutes and decides he wants to be part of that. A lot of good youngsters at the club already getting game time and he might see the potential for something big to happen.

The club can absolutely present him a believable project where the young players are central to everything.

They already have for sure.

Tel apparently wanted to be a Bayern legend so probably just took a final night to decide on making a permanent move. If we’d wanted a loan, I think he’d have committed by now. I don’t think the decision is really based on other clubs at all.

The posted accounts that cover the summer we sold Kane showed a £101M profit on player trading. Can't see how that was done other than Bayern paid up front and we deferred payments for most of our spending on incomings that year.
Because you can book the profit ahead of the receivables? The remaining payments for Kane then show as assets on the balance sheet, no? Paying in installments is normal practice as is booking the profit in year of sale.
