The injury cycle will continue. We'll never have all these players available at once. If we do, lucky us exactly where we need to be. Rested legs, high competition.

Kids need some rests too. Don't want to crock them.

I see what you mean. Yes, I don't doubt the prospects aren't identified by Levy. As for the final say ... I would astonished if Levy didn't have that. He's all over everything financial obviously, and player trading calls are the biggest financial decisions a club makes.

Final say on what is doable financially. But if there are 2 players who cost the same, he's not the one making the decision; Lange and his team with input from Ange are.

Probably a bit of Bayern wanting one on one negotiations.

And according to a interview with Lange a couple of months back. Levy apparently still dips in to negotiate depending on who's on the other end.

On some level I can see the reasoning even if it is bizarre. If there's an absolute mentalist of a club owner/chairman on the other end we may as well send out own weapon in against him. But it does reek of Levy meddling with Lange's operation.
