Eh?
Showing the whole of the footballing world you have £60m to spend whilst flying out to Germany to conclude a deal, what kind of PR do you think that is?

I don't even think he buys that anymore, certainly no one else does. This deal is all part of the "Illusion of ambition" that Levy wants to project.
Makes him look weaker but saves him 60m on a risky signing...I don’t get this idea. He looks like an idiot atm. Why would he be making “fake” bids to get turned down by 19-year-olds? It makes him look weaker.
I'm more saying that on their day and decently rested, not run into the ground and half broken, they have the ability to compete with anyone. Liverpools top team struggled with southampton.Mate, come on. Apart from Cherki, this team struggled against Ipswich and Palace.
I don't think so. Sounds like charity work! Because we so obviously have a ceiling under Levy. And that ceiling is below winning the league. And arguably below winning a cup also!I would have thought the idea would be to prove your talent by going to a fairly large Prem club and helping dig them out of a crisis.
he's 19. 4 year deal puts him into a huge new contract/move before hes 23.
Clearly doesn't fancy the fight which means he isn't what we need right now anyway.
Mbeumo would make sense we need a rw but i reckon it's dibling or nothing there
You know what, I really miss the days when we wouldn't have a clue what was going on and then BOOM, Kilngsman signs on for Spurs fromo the Chairmans yacht
I'll break it down for you.I don’t get this idea. He looks like an idiot atm. Why would he be making “fake” bids to get turned down by 19-year-olds? It makes him look weaker.
The fact we are not seen as an attractive option for a player of Tel’s standing in the game is an absolute indictment of Levy’s Spurs, considering the promises that were made when we moved into our “game changer” new stadium.
How we have transformed into such a rudderless, soulless mess of a football club before our very eyes is just so so sad.
Probably a bit of Bayern wanting one on one negotiations.
And according to a interview with Lange a couple of months back. Levy apparently still dips in to negotiate depending on who's on the other end.
On some level I can see the reasoning even if it is bizarre. If there's an absolute mentalist of a club owner/chairman on the other end we may as well send out own weapon in against him. But it does reek of Levy meddling with Lange's operation.
Dybala image rights was the best one...or the Rivaldo letter.
