I will admit I have only seen Tomori 6-7 times but in those games look quite solid and decent pace wise but limited on the ball. A sort of better Davinson Sanchez, which to be fair fits our system. A loan would be better as if the manager changes in the summer and the system changes he might be less useful.

The one good thing is did we need yet another player that plays mainly off the left? We need a right wing option. If we get Dibling and Tomori on a loan with an option then given our current situation we've done ok. The fact we're in this situation and we've been allowed to rot is totally on the board.

We desperately need both. But players who could actually be ready-ish now would also be nice.

Is Hugo the only French player who we’ve signed that hasn’t been a moody fucker? Dalmat, ndombele, the n’signings. They all just seem unhappy. Feels like a bit of a red flag to me. This guy wants out of one of the biggest clubs on the planet rather than bide his time for his chance.

£50 million too and apparently he’d only ever started 11 matches. Make it make sense.
Sissoko was kind of both moody and not at the same time. Aurier was surprisingly zen given his rep when he was brought in.

Also getting a CB means we can think about moving Gray towards midfield. Ange said that is his future and been able to shift bodies around is key. Still leaves right wing and possibly striker as needed.

Absolutely, we’re in a relegation battle, we can’t afford to sign 50-60m pound punts. That project should be dead, it’s left us with a broken, unfinished squad sitting in 15th.

I am one of these people who doesn’t believe that there is any such thing as a project in football. All there is is the season you’re playing in. Projects are terms dreamed up by people like Daniel Levy so that they don’t have to spend money in the hear and now.
