100%. Tel is 19 we have Moore and oddjob already. We need a defender more than anything. Two’s numbers arnt that great. Who’s to say by the time Moore is 19 he won’t be as good. Even oddjob not that we have seen him play much but he needs to given a chance first. Ange said they had been watching him last season so know what to expect and supposedly fits in with what he wants. Rather spend that sort of money on proven quality.

I see the need for a forward but I want someone decent, not Timo Mk2 - As usual it seems the club have no kind of stragety in place for this and are just trying to get a big name in to appease the fans , why not tests Wolves resolve on Muembo , premier league and proven.

Tel isn’t a Bayern superstar though. He’s a 19 year old bench rider who Bayern are pushing out the door. All jokes aside, I respect him for backing himself to stay and prove himself there but Bayern wanted him gone and the money coming in to fund future purchases. He was absolutely lucky that his next option was a top 6 PL club. If he stays and it still doesn’t work, his reputation alone won’t be enough to keep that level of offer coming.
