About 2/5th as long as Levy but who is counting
Just for your information: Botswana Meat Commission FC have changed their name to Gilport Lions FCDay 32 and we are down to the final two potential targets. Belgium centre back Mark de Man has been playing well lately and rumour has it, Levy has flown to Brussels with a loan offer which includes and option to buy his parents waffle franchise creating high quality dining experience in our stadium. From Brussels, Levy is planning to drive to Amsterdam to sign Dutch U20 winger Jizz Hornkamp. This will be a difficult deal with Peruvian giants Deportivo Wanka aka Los Wankeros also making a bid. The Botswana Meat Commission FC have also been sniffing around...
Shock horror!!!
good centre back doesnt want to play in a system where defenders are hung out to dry and the manager doesnt seem to even care anout defending.
As I have had it explained to me: If you follow how transfers work by the book, you have to get a verbal agreement with the club first before you are allowed to approach the player. Then if the player agrees you go back to the club and set up the paper work.
Obviously clubs work around this, but if you want to do it "by the book" it has to be club first, then player. Otherwise the club can claim that we tapped the player up.
Honestly this is just so embarrassing. Bidding on players who don’t want to come because the their clubs owe us money (Kane and Royal). Levy has degraded us to mid 90’s Spurs, infact worse than that, in the mid 90’s we could still get Klinsmann and Ginola. This is a whole new Spurs.
Our only hope now is we have 2/3 choices in the background that do want to come who have been scouted and agreed with Lange and will be triggered when our first choice have said no.
Given what we did in the summer and the injury crisis in Jan our failure to get 2/3 decent players will be right up there with the worst transfer windows in the clubs entire history given the situation and what is at stake.
Ok this is taking the piss now. Amateur hour by the club,
Everyone knows you agree with the player first. They had the whole window to talk to Tomori. They are fucking this up on purpose.
100%.
Again with that kid?!?! He's 18 and got 20 games to his name. He's nothing special, many kids out there doing better. But he's English so let's just overrate the eff out of him. Even 10 mil would be a big splash.
Why are we not sounding out these players first before making a deal with the club, this is just such an embarrassing window for us, still Levy in the mud - maybe he will step back now ?
It’s all for show, I’m convinced on that. Putting bids in to make it look like Levy’s prepared to spend money,I don’t think he’s embarrassed at all . He’s just trying to obsolve himself of blame. when they most likely know the player is not interested. Exactly like the Aguero bid when he was under pressure that summer. Why are we not sounding out these players first before making a deal with the club, this is just such an embarrassing window for us, still Levy in the mud - maybe he will step back now ?
yeh we've become a cum rag of a football club.
Day 32 and we are down to the final two potential targets. Oh come on, we all know that these days clubs don't tend to bother negotiating with each other unless they've had a hint from the agent that the player is open to the move.Correct.
This window has been an absolute shocker, but there is still the established way of conducting transfer business.
RKM, Tel and Tomori all rejected our offers
More that he knows he will be back up to Romero and Micky I should think.Shock horror!!!

Neither in the same league of interest.Bergvall and Dragusin say differently. Both were wanted by big clubs around Europe
