Players rejecting us left right and centre, club have reached their usual desperate levels of bidding for anyone yet there's people out there who think these lot will get the manager search right and there's actual managers actually wanting to come to this club right now lmao

Delusional beyond belief

Which is ironic because a third of your language comes from french. Your country started with a Norman. Your ideas of class and taste are French.

I'm not one to bash the French, but English is far more used world wide than French.

And French is mainly based upon the Latin language, so not a native language.

English has many roots - there are lots of words in English derived from Indian (our colonial past) and Scandinavian as well as French and Anglo Saxon etc. We take the best of the languages into our own, whilst France has had to try to ban the use of English spreading throughout France !

We never had to learn anybody else's language, they all speak ours..
Probably because we had the biggest Empire in the history of mankind.

Where as you invented the baguette...
And now you’re on an increasingly isolated island, while we have a country that spans more time zones than any other country in the world.

Form is temporary; class is permanent.

Yes he is. Moore hasn’t proved anything against premier league defenders. Dibling is taking the piss and gliding past people like they are not there. He’s physically and technically way ahead of Mikey.

Notably; Dibling is virtually 2 years older than Moore and has 24 senior starts to his name (20 EPL)......

Opportunity counts for a lot in this equation.

Both Fab & Lange have proven that they're capable of pulling a deal off with minimal fuss......... Did you not stop to think that maybe how 'public' things are depends on the profile of the club & players we're involved with?

(Kinksy - eg - was rapid and under the radar and quite a lot of our deals over the last few years have been.)

Munich are one of the biggest clubs in the world and all manner of other clubs were 'publicly' (whatever that actually means in vivid terms*) cast in that saga.... There are eyes on everything that goes on there.... Esp. German media (who were obviously the trigger point for most of the stories circulating this last few days...... Whilst Sky, The Athletic, the UK tabloids etc. were - typically - playing catch up.)

(*I'd suggest although it helps ramp up the "embarrassment" trauma narrative for fans that are so inclined; all that 'public' really denotes is the degree of media attention shone..... The #1 component to that is the stature of the parties involved.... The second component to that being there's some genuine activity behind the scenes and the media will in turn squeeze that for all the column inches they can.)

......Look at the Liverpool sagas surrounding Salah, TAA & VVD over the last 6 months. Pretty sure Liverpool didn't go out of their way to get all that on the front page.

There is an element of that but it our interest in Bergvall was radio silent until we hijacked Barca last minute. Surely the deal makers would’ve wanted that getting out?

That also doesn’t explain how the deals got so public when we haven’t even agreed with the player yet.

The fact we are now being rejected by mid players makes it even worse that we didn't spend big when we had the attraction of CL football... think we bought in Lenglet as the CB that summer.
Outside of our team who still buy into it and probably some Scottish people, it’s pretty damn clear that most of the footballing world see “Angeball” as a joke. That, our position in the table, lack of upward trajectory, and the rep of Levy are all the reason why. Ange is making it a lot worse though. Genuinely think we’ve been rejected a lot more than we know about in recent times. What ends up happening is we get our third, fourth, even fifth choice options or whoever the hell we can get in. It’s an awful situation as the players that do come often don’t give a toss. Or we sign players that do give a toss but simply aren’t good enough. Or don’t give a toss AND aren’t good enough, like Lenglet!

Playing for Saints you’re going to be getting a lot of opportunity.

It’s why a loan to Saints of Tyrese Hall would be really good as part of the Dibling deal. Hall will play and grow, harder here.

Country started in 1066....things you learn. Half your country was ruled by the English after that.

He is right that the Normans established the boundaries of modern England though. Edward the Confessor only controlled Wessex, the rest of England (Mercia, East Anglia and Northumbria) was controlled by different Earls ... and 2 of those were Danish. The Normans were themselves Vikings, so at the end of the day the whole history is basically a Scandinavian civil war.
