I fully sympathize with Richy's mental health struggles, provided they're genuine.

Still, as a pro athlete, one of your main assets - and part of your work ethic - is your availability. Richy has been a total joke since joining...injury after injury. Does he really live the life of a pro footballer...or is he just shit unlucky? IIRC he wasn't out as much at Everton...

End of the day, I've little respect for a guy who takes home a huge paycheck for missing most the season, especially when I think (rightly or wrongly) that his injury record is the result of the guy not acting all that professionally.
What are you basing his unprofessionalism on? This is pure conjecture.

Work ethic has nothing to do with availability when said (lack of) availability is because of injury.

Oh excellent, we've beaten Wolves to a player from the 6th place Ligue 1 club for a loan to buy.

At least he doesn't effect the cash flow situation while we find out if he's shit or not and only €25m over 5.5 years. I'll bet he didn't want too much money either considering what he was likely on at such a big club as Lens.

Such an ambitious club.

Quit the tears for a day mate, I know it's fashionable to mock this club and join in with the misery gang but you're just generally doing too much now...we've signed a good player, who gives a fuck how we signed him, he's through the door and that all that matters.

Do we think we’ll see Romero much more this season? I don’t think his head is in it.
He'll be back soon but could easily have another setback. Anyway it's beyond likely that this is his last season and the club cashes out in the Summer. If anything Romero will need to finish this season strongly to get that big external move! His reputation hasn't gone up this season anyway so not 100% a big team like Real Madrid will still want him come the Summer. He needs a good end to the season to get the move!
