I'm guessing the financial terms didn't suit us/them/him first time around then he's been told he won't play much for the rest of the season or something like other clubs weren't interested hence the backtracking.
Saw a fair bit of him for France at different youth levels but only ever centrally for them, hard to tell if he'd be prolific or not at this level (EPL) but certainly talented enough.
Saw a big Serbian lad keep him pretty quiet in one game in particular, but hard to tell from U19's etc.
Not impressive scoring in the middle
Some of our defensive issues are caused because our forwards don't hold onto the ball well enough and we don't have a treat to ouch teams back so in fact he does help it a lot.

I get what you are saying but we would have a much better preseason and next season if we can figure out how to successfully address our dreadful league form, this season.
Our league form is dreadful because we're managed by a complete hack.

To be fair to them, he's not exactly been prolific in men's football so far at arguably a lesser standard (Germany) than the EPL.
Henry was his idol apparently, still not sure if he's a potential Thierry or another Anthony Martial who didn't live up to the hype. Fingers crossed.
