It was embarrassing, wasn’t it.Gotta lol at Sky Sports News now talking Tel down.
Trying to validate why Man Utd and Woolwich didn't want him.
Very good defender but English TaxYou rate Guehi?
I think I’m alone on here in not thinking he’s that amazing
Definitely not a £70m player
If a football club has an "option to buy" on a player but the player doesn't want to join them, the club cannot force the transfer; the player has the right to choose where they want to play, and the club can only proceed with the transfer if the player agrees to the move
The loaning club has the right to purchase the player permanently at a pre-determined price at the end of the loan period, but if the parent club (the club that owns the player) doesn't want to sell, the loaning club cannot force them to do so; they must simply return the player at the end of the loan period
Granted not the usual regular horse shit sandwich
I think it not necessarily have to be. Still, if they want him back, he will go back. That's not how it works mate.....
It acts like a buyout clause... Player can decline; but selling club is committed to the deal if triggered.
That’s the same old issue. Still left the manager short.
To be honest, it’s impossible to know what is and what is not incorporated into any given contract. There could be all sorts of exceptions. That's not how it works mate.....

For example (and jokes aside), what happens if Tel is injured in the time he is with us. What strikes me as odd about what is being presented is that we get all of the benefit (a look at the player, a fixed price) *and* a unilateral right to purchase the player.
That would surprise me. If I had to guess at what seems more realistic, I think we have fixed the price, Tel and ourselves have agreed the terms, but *both* parties need to agree to the option this Summer. In practise, I think that gets you most of the way there.
I actually like the fact we’re not tied in.
