hes a good keeper, next season i think hell be our number 1. bad gaff for the goal but he made up for it after with some great saves, what i like about him too is he looks like he will learn from his mistakes.
like it or not the keepers have to be able to use their feet in the modern game and kinsky is the best weve had in that regard by a million miles. i dont think hes miles behind vicario in all the other areas of goalkeeping, he may be behind in shot stopping, but hes far better at dealing with crosses which is also a big thing, and then with his actual feet hes in a different stratosphere to him...better keeper imo.

Stopping shots is his number one job, like scoring goals is for strikers.
At the moment he is looking like the goalkeeping equivalent of Darwin Nunez. Some great moments, but too many howlers.
keepers always go through these spells when they are playing for a team in a crisis. hes playing in goal for a team that pretty much has a back 2, under the worst manager in history and morale is at an all time low...lets see what hes like in a more settled team, under a proper manager.
When he made that mistake and his nervous actions following, I really thought that maybe he was a dud. However he got better and maybe will be ok. He needs to get rid of the ball quicker when at his feet, he got caught in procession in a previous match. However whilst he beats Vic on corners, Vic makes better saves and will return to the number 1 position.
Think the issue is that in the premier league you’re expected to be at a level! It’s not the place to cut your teeth and learn your trade (way too much money invested) I think he does have the tools to be great long term. But can’t ignore the fact he was poor for the trossard goal, poor for both of Leicester’s, weak on the first 2 Liverpool ones and a horrific mistake today!
The margins of the above are season changing, don’t concede that easy one to trossard and we go into half time at a draw, gives you something to get behind, the Leicester goals just killed us, save gakpos and you go into half time still ahead and with more confidence, save that one today and your not already chasing the game and over committing to everything

He shows promising signs but yeah I think I may as well be in goal given his errors. Would put him on loan at Orient or somewhere similar and play Austin. The idiotic reason we have Austin is because he is home grown. No point in having him in the squad if he can never get a game.
Poor decision by Ange to be constantly starting this guy. He clearly isn’t ready and it’s showing but the mistakes he’s made in almost every game.

I don't know his background but I'm guessing he was playing in a settled team and has been thrown into a shit show in a more testing league.
He is raw but very young for a GK he has the tools but I still prefer Vicarios shot stopping. He will be on the bench soon.

I agree, he bounced back very well after that shocking start. In saying that he simply did his job.
So we can look for another back up goalie? hmmm no.
Like i said, i think he's going to be a very good goalkeeper.
He reminds me of Meslier from a couple of years ago. The odd great save, but way too many howlers and idiotic decisions (with and without the ball at his feet), overall a source of unrest.
I would just play Vicario every game, without Europe he won’t be playing that many games. If we had Europe then I would keep him around, but I’d rather he gets minutes to improve his game.
