To quote one of our most successful managers " there used to be a football club over there "

Daniel Levy

"Every single penny that goes in to this club, whatever the revenue source is, purely football or wether that is third party events like conferences or concerts, it's all going back into the team. Every single penny that comes in to this club goes back in to the team"

This is the statement that really turned me against him. I always disliked him and was unsure about his commitment to the football clubs success but he is proving beyond any reasonable doubt this last 5 years that its all bullshit and we are a cash cow.
Before that he had the stadium excuse - he doesn't any more, we are fucking loaded with money and could have spent another 150 million no problem this year - he simply won't do it, not for Mourinho, Conte and certainly not for Ange!

The Olympic stadium bid didn't even convince me he was a cunt at the time - I thought he was being a clever owner and bluffing to get the Govt funding for transport improvements etc around Tottenham and more development in the area.

Not backing Poch and going 3 windows without a signing leaving us with a Sissoko and Winks first choice midfield was absolutely unforgivable and resulted in Poch leaving us without a pot and the squad a shambles.
Not backing a lunatic winner like Conte with proper first team players to 'win now' was unforgivable.
Now look at us - trying to take the wage bill down to nothing while revenue goes up.

Cunt needs to go simple as that.

Great post my man 👏👏

I wonder what Levy says to his wife when he gets home

Bad day at work today sweetheart 60, 000 people called me a cunt for 95 minutes

It’s NEVER a bad day at work for Daniel Levy ; I can think of loads of people who’d do that gig ( see above) for 1 million a year . Even me .

I know I’m shallow; but seriously; I could do that for a living for that level of remuneration. To almost quote Yosser Hughes .

Lol!
I honestly feel like the last 5 years ( I can't believe its been that long!) the ownership have undoubtedly with no caveats showed their true colours and its there for all to see.
I love the fact we are buying young players with huge potential but that is useless if not supplemented with first team ready pros who know how to win. We just aren't doing enough.
If the long term goal really is to have a young team and world class academy driven success this simply isn't going to happen if thats all we have in the team. These kids will not learn how to be winners losing 50% of the time and having no guidance on the pitch. Theres just no balance at all and our under investment and wage policy has killed this squad.

Nearly SIX YEARS since the thunderdome opened and look where we are and what Levy said numerous times about it being our key to fighting for honours.
Disgraceful.

It's eating you up inside that people have had enough of these charlatans isn't it

Nah, I just like to grind JT's gears because he has been trolling me since I arrived on this forum.

Id have some respect for him if he ever responded to a single question he was asked

Good for anyone who is taking the time to go to protest and be part of this movement - I don't have the time nor do I think it really targets the actual problem.

I know you said you went to the last protest so fair play!

When we won cups ? When we were known as a cup team

I’ve seen us relegated , I’ve seen the level of rubbish we’ve had as players , management & at board levels . What we are seeing today is a different animal , the board has their eye well and truly off the ball because of other business opportunities, there is no planning in the footballing side only the newest trend , for example looking towards youth but without knowing football is a continuous beast and you can’t ignore the present while hoping for the future
Agree.

Wind back to the early '90s and we'd won the FA cup more than anyone. Had a decent trophy record in Europe too. We were always iffy in the league, only two titles in our history. But we were known as a very successful cup team, we weren't a small club. The way some go on we were absolute nobodies and Levy and co came in and made us. The '90s were mostly shite but ironically we won more trophies in that period than we have since!

What we're seeing since - especially in the last six or seven years specifically - is a totally different animal.
