True, great manager but he was into some dodgy financial nonsense and trying to buy the club etc. If he could have stuck to coaching that would have helped as that’s where his real talent was.
I'm a fairly good judge of player and I do think Tel is going to be a top player. Hope we can keep him. At this stage 40/60 he sticks around. Odobert is electric as well.
Yeah but we won the fa cup for a record 8th time. I do agree el tel was a bit shady but he put a trophy in the cabinet. That's what counts. Chelsea shenanigans was on a different scale though. It's the memories us fans want. Winning cup in 91 was a special feeling. A club like us should be in europe every year and a trophy every 5 years. Anything less than that is shit.
Great businessman but imagine working with him. I'd walk out after an hour.
