Middle and attacking areas too weak and likely to get bullied off the ball. Probably gonna need a bit more steel and experience against these tractor boys.

Son as a striker works well only when we are going on the counter. Son should start on the left with Tel as a striker.
Tel seems a bit lightweight for a modern lone striker. I’d prefer him with another striker but nobody ever plays 2 strikers anymore. I’d like to see him and Solanke together.
Not brave enough, no defemsive desire or ability, does t try to beat his man on the outside, hit or miss crosser of the ball.
Sadly, we do not have that option since Solanke is still injured. So we make due with what we have. I still think we are going to either draw or lose this..... just a gut feeling.
Well Son and Tel scored a combined zero in the EFL last year so make of that what you will...
Regardless of the line up the fact that there are legitimate options for different positions is nice. Would also be nice to bring on good fresh legs at the 60 minute mark.
Stats wise (according to transfermarkt) excluding internationals, this season:
One striker has 5 goals and 2 assists in 996 mins (call it 11 games)
One left winger / striker has 1 goal and 1 assist in 683 mins (call it 7.5 games) and is apparently worth £50m
One definitely left winger not a striker has 10 goals 8 assists in 2485 mins (27.5 games)
Yes different levels of course, but you could argue playing in that Bayern team is a lot easier to rack up GAs than at Oxford.
Based on the above I remain to be convinced Tel is worth the money, I see why Scarlett was brought back, the lack of game time with those stats was plain bizarre, and hope he gets a decent crack at the PL. The other thing it does is make me appreciate Sonny.
