Match Man City (H) – 26 Feb – 19:30 kickoff

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Unless Spence is carrying some knock, I really don't get why he's been dropped, especially for Porro.

There's been a noticeable improvement in our defending since Djed has been starting. I really have very little faith in Porro, especially against City.

I get resting Kulu and Sonny but not Spence, seems unnecessary. I can see Doku having a lot more success against Porro than he would against Spence.

It's called rotating. He didn't do enough of it early in the season so has hopefully learnt his lesson!

You hardly think Kulusevski and Son are dropped too?

We need to rotate our squad regularly otherwise Ange will injure all the players again. Its good to see Ange realise that he cannot keep flogging these players.

Resting Spence makes sense to me, played three days ago and we want him fresh and injury free for AZ which is a much bigger match than this one.

I mean Ange really can’t win. He doesn’t rotate and players get injured, gets called a fat prick. Rotates players and prevents potential injuries, gets called a fat prick.

As a side note, Udogie - Porro feels like such a throwback! 😂

Johnson Tel Odobert on the counter should be pretty tasty. Let's hope they get a chance to stretch their legs with some well timed passes to the outlets

Spence has played a lot of minutes recently and probably needed a rest to stay fresh. We played 3 days ago and our FBs have a lot fo running to do.

8 days to go until next one though. And it is ManCity not Southampton. All I am saying is that maybe if it is accumulated tiredness than game against Ipswich might have been better moment to rotate bit more? Players like Kulu and Son had been playing "lot of minutes" before that as well.

That part is true that they might have some slight knocks or specific coditions for some that we are not aware of.

But let's hope it plays out the best way possible.
