People moaning about Spence not starting and rightly so but he should be playing instead of Udogie not Porro. Udogie hasn’t earned the right to play in this game. Not starting Spence could backfire because Udogie is nowhere near as good of a defender as Spence and he also offers virtually nothing going forward. Strange strange decision to leave Spence out.
If you meant to play Madders, Son should be starting too. Although Son coming on later could make more of an impact by being fresher.
I'm sure he probably doesn't need any more motivation than that!!!

Moore is a bright talent, but current player for player Werner brings much more to the table. Good to see him back
But surely the beauty of FINALLY being able to rotate is for exactly this type of selection...
Porro & Udogie finally have some GENUINE competition for both their places... So they'd better be on their game...
And that only benefits US!!
Besides, Spence can have a well earned rest for an hour or so tonight, and will no doubt be part of our EL team next week now he's eligible again!!!

But question is - why the fuck do that rotation against ManCity not against Ipswich ?!?
In frontline there was no rotation in that one really. Ok - in defence Porro did not start.
To me it would make more sense to rest against lesser opposition really. Let's hope it pays off though.
I think it says a bit about Haaland that he is back for the lesser important 3rd game.

Basically we rotated one player vs Ipswich and now 3 against City which is weird for me.
Everyone who claim like this is a free hit of a game (not you RA) knows absolutely nothing about football though.

He rotated Porro and Maddison for Ipswich and subbed Udogie very early.
I think ange has got it right tonight tbf. Spence is imo our first choice rb and he's done brilliantly and we need to make sure the like of him Son Kulu are at it vs az. Last thing we want now is more overplaying and more hamstring injuries and I don't really give a toss about coming 10th or 9th in the league.
