The 14 losses is embarrassing. That will obviously be more than that come the end of the season. At best we will have 16 losses as we are guaranteed to lose at Chelsea and Liverpool. Thats not good enough and to be honest we’ll lose more than that. Injuries have played a part but it’s still not acceptable. Highly unlikely we win the Europa so come the end of the season it will look horrific. Ange will be here till the summer at the very minimum.

We definitely shouldn’t be keeping him unless we win the europa and have a strong finish to the campaign. Even then i cant see massive improvements being made next season.

HuhJust checking....We are melting down today after narrowly losing to the European and Premier League Champions with the youngest team fielded in the EPL in 20 years.

OK.

Carry on.

European Champions??

Last night summed up Postacoglu as an absolute blagger
Last season when we played Man city at home he had a go at supporters rightly wanting us not to go full pelt to hand Woolwich the title
Saying he wsnted to install a winning mentality all the time no matter what or who we play.
Ladt night after 3 straight wins momentum building he puts out a weakened team knowing that starting 11 would not win that game.
So wheres his logic.
Clueless way out of his depth and blags every interview afterwards.
The sooner we cut ties with this fraud the better.
Levy out
Postacoglu gone.”

Same old stuff this. How open and as a result how easy to play through we are is amusing more than anything else at this stage.

Any team that'll take its chances at a reasonable rate, which hasn't been the case with the teams we played recently, will knock this team out of EL. You don't get away with stuff like this at this level infinitely.

We should not be keeping him, let's get to end of the season and then give him his P45.

It's actually going to be funny watching those who continue to make excuses for this clown be absolutely flabbergasted when we still concede the same sort of goals once vdv and Romero are back.

That's the frustrating part. That type goal is a recurring problem, but since fixing that might require adjustments to the system Spurs seem to just accept it in the hopes eventually we'll just start outscoring the opposition and it won't matter.

Vdv will quell that problem so much but the problem is asking him to do that much all the time is clearly making his hamstrings a ticking time bomb. Then when he's out for another 8 weeks we can't cut out that ball again and the frequency returns. He keeps those chances down but not to zero as it's impossible with these tactics.

Man those three wins in a row must’ve been real tough on some of you.

Thank goodness we got beat yesterday.
Just about everyone on this board wants Spurs to win. But you can enjoy the wins and at the same time look at this man's overall record and realize that he is in over his head in this league. Yesterday's performance, poor team selection, and absolutely ridiculous tactics of pushing Udogie and Danso into the opposition box over and over again should make it crystal clear that we can't be competitive in the PL with him at the helm.

Suicidal defending. How could Ange let this happen ???

Yeah that's one of the, if not THE, main problems with him. His incapability of coaching a solid defensive team aside, he has little to no qualms about giving away chances and goals as freely as we have been doing since day one. Because he vastly underestimates the difficulty of scoring goals at top level football in general. Defending like a 6-a-side team might be passable only under the assumption that scoring comes to you at least as easy, otherwise numbers wouldn't add up. Except nobody is averaging 3 or 4 a match at this level, which seems to be what Ange is aiming at. You'll end up going one step forward two steps back all the time.

His entire approach is built on vastly unrealistic assumptions regarding what is achievable offensively. Better players would help his cause, because that's a truism that applies to every single manager in the world, but they wouldn't alter his fundamentally flawed way of thinking.

He reminds me of the snooker player Quinten Hann (also Australian) who would smash the cue ball into the reds at the break to be unorthodox and would inevitably lose as a result.

Ange failing to select a starting front 3, capable of scoring a goal, is one thing.

Failing to start Spence, who could at least have helped to keep the back door shut, was unforgivable.

City could and should have been 0-3 ahead at half time due to Ange's team selection.

Danso was moved from Right centre back to left and Gray was swapped from left to right.

Porro and Gray, defending Spurs right side, against Foden and Haaland was tactically inept.

Spurs main source of goals this season have been pretty evenly spread among Son, Solanke, Johnson, Kulusevski and Maddison.

Of those 5 main goal scorers; Johnson is the one who relies most on his team mates, from this group, to lay chances on for him or create the space he exploits when he scores.

Leaving both Kulu and Son out of last nights starting 11 was the main reason Spurs did not look like scoring a goal in the opening 45 minutes.

Tel and Odebert were statistically very unlikely to score against City's defenders.

Maddison was the only source of creativity and Johnson was the most likely scorer.

Ange made it easy for City.

Football is a simple game.

Spurs need a better manager.

Honestly I think a magic 8-ball would get better results.

Any great striker will find space away from defenders.

It’s a bit of a shit tweet though.
The problem is Danso playing in left midfield 10 seconds before that screenshot. Nowhere near his CB partner.

He sprints back ball watches and just ignores haaland.

So my question would be is Danso actually blind?
