We literally finished 5th last season and then signed an actual centre forward, some talented youngsters and a good CB in Danso. In what world are we 7th at very best when the likes of Fulham and Bournemouth are up there? Are their squads notably better than ours?
We've struggled with injuries + bad management + multiple comps, next season we won't be in Europe and we hopefully won't have this sort of injury crisis, and very hopefully will have a coach who sets us up in a bit more of a structured fashion and maybe demands a bit more of the board than a bunch of fucking teenagers.
Danso is shite. Romero wants out, VDV will spend more time on the treatment table than on the field . Our full backs are below the standard required and our midfield couldn’t tackle a good dinner. Son’s best days are well behind him, and let’s not get started with the problems with our GK.

Aston Villa’s is probably comparable to ours. If Emery were managing us we would be contending for top 4, no doubt.

Well we need a few reinforcements, I think we all agree with that, but our players as a whole ain't any worse than Forest, Brighton, Bournemouth. If we pack in the Kamakazi defending, and get better coached, there's no reason we can't be above Bournemouth or Brighton, this time next season.
IMO the players can look a bit naff because the team isn't well organised and we take too much risk.
