Not true. Why not post the actual quote?

Here you go.

And then, well, the plan was always for Micky to play 60/70 [minutes] today. Obviously, I thought Romero would be okay to play 90, but Micky, probably 60/70. So we were always going take him off. He didn't feel anything significant. He just felt tightness, but we were always going to take him off anyway. Tie me kangaroo down mate.

what?? he literally said that VDV should have played 60 minutes against chelsea?? it was the talksport interview.

what is not true about it?

"The plan was always for Micky to play 60, 70 minutes. Obviously, I thought Romero would be okay to play 90, but Micky, probably 60, 70, so we were always going take him off. He didn't feel anything significant. He just felt tightness, but we were always going to take him off anyway."

right so the plan was to play him for 60 minutes and he played 80.

Thats not even the interview i was refering to but thats a start so thanks.

the poster is wrong.

I mean it was common knowledge he said that previously but i guess after you win a few games people forget about everything negative(until we lose again).
Whoa whoa common knowledge?

Obviously not lol C'mon man I got respect for you but if you have the information we don't remember you have to share for us to agree - otherwise it's just a call to authority which is 'I HEARD IT YOU DIDN'T NERR NERR' and we can trade panini stickers ;)

No shrimps on the barbie or cabs off the rank?

I wonder how often he leaves his shrimps on the barbie for 10 minutes longer than planned?

The age of misinformation.

Someone was convinced the other day Spence had been left out of the first EL squad so we could put two substitute keepers in there. Like it was an actual choice we had made.

I’m guessing that sort of stuff flys around as fake news until it becomes true.

Well, he didnt Literally say 'The plan was to play VDV for 60 mins' did he though -

what you're saying is as far removed as what anyone else is mate -
actually in the talksport interview he didn't even mention "70 minutes". He stated VDV should have played 60 minutes but due to the Romero injury he was "forced" to go against that advice (by the medical department).

Anyway even with the quote you provided Mr pedantic he states "60 to 70" and VDV played 80 so he went against advice and played him longer then what he should have. I'm not surprised you're trying to pick holes though.
