Recognising Wenger was a good coach is hardly praising him, it’s just common sense ffs. You don’t have to like the man, I’m still never gonna compare a premier league winning coach to Ange fucking Posteclueless. It’s just dumb.

It wasn't terrible, but it was noticeably bad in spots. Postecoglou's comments about not using Romero and VDV because of it just confirms in my mind he has already been reassured he's returning next season.

To some degree, yes. But from my perspective, it's more for the fact they still seem to back him than their actual performances. They look hopelessly unprepared for matches most week. We often win just due to the having better players with the ability to put a chance away compared to the opposition. There isn't usually a plan or patters. Players all look void of ideas or muscle memory type actions.
All reeks of poor training and lack of actual planning for games. "it's just who we are mate" isn't how you challenge. Fastidious work, research, preparation, diet, training, tactics, fitness regimes, squad rotation, player development all of that is what makes a team elite. And we lack all of it by the looks of things.

With so much hype last season people bought into the idea they had a special manager with a system that gave us a big advantage. When it didn't happen it has been hard for people to accept that not only has it not happened but it was never going to. It isn't easy to let go of things you're emotionally invested in.

no different than the ball didn't have grip, the ball was too light, the ball was to bouncy, today was too windy, the kits made us invisible to the naked eye, not enough ball boys, we missed Kalvin Phillips , too many games, not enough games, too much fortnite etc etc.

all managers come out with bullshit excuses when they're embarrassed by a defeat , or they'll just blame on the players which is risky
