It's stunning to me the ease at which this manager and now the players are able to lay the blame for the teams ills at the feet of the fans. Fans who have on the whole, treated this manager and the players so delicately and beyond fairly. They have had their bellys tickled and recieved exorbitant praise over the last 16 months for below bare minimum shit. Many fans have allowed them every excuse and have dropped the acceptable standards of a great football club, in order to accomidate the manager and the teams incompetent performances.

Watched the game with no enthusiasm at all and that sums it up for me. I’m usually overly excited about every game but not now. Not even Thursday night will bring me that. As I’ve said before I hate people losing their jobs but I honestly have no clue how Ange is still here. 1 home league win in 10. 5 in 15. Out both domestic cups and hanging by a thread in Europe against the weakest team left in it.
We all know we’ll win on Thursday and this will drag on. If Ange is in charge next season then I’m out. I can’t watch what we serve up. At times it can be enjoyable but most of the time we are sitting there waiting for the opposition to score. To be so open in every single game we play and never ever change is utter madness.
Ange is a stubborn cunt. His coaching staff are yes men. Our players don’t have the balls to question the tactics. Maybe that’s why we have the softest captain ever to have played the game. Maybe why someone like madders who’s got an opinion and will air it isn’t a regular. Maybe that’s why Romero isn’t giving a fuck.

I'm half thinking about a ticket and a flight. Work probably makes it impossible but I'm really tempted. I've said Ange has to go after the first leg and I've said the players are wankers who let the fans down, and I've slagged the owners no end.... but I'm still a Spurs fan and I'm talking myself into it...

The thing that gets me, is the simps who say things like "we only ever lose by 1" as if it's a sign we were good.
It's a combination of wasteful opponents, Vicario, and scoring late consolation goals that have fooled them into thinking we weren't outclassed a lot
It's a very poor standard in the EL but we have no chance the way we have been playing
The whole ethos of his plan, seems to hinge on, getting as high up the pitch as possible to overwhelm the opponent.
But we don't do that, generally, teams have so many chances against us because of how open they are. We end up getting away with it when teams don't take their chances.
He seems to shrug his shoulder's and continues to believe it will suddenly change.

Players were never in the right place. Lots of fans can’t understand it though, so around me were perplexed by it. Just shows how little the average fan gets about football and tactics.
Honestly it was so bad. Today was as bad as I’ve seen it. A decent team would have dispatched that Bournemouth team easily, they were nothing special.

We’ve won 1 trophy in 25 years. There’s next to fuck all chance we would have won the EL even if Ange was sacked.
This is not a trophy winning football club.
