I think if some actual real planning is put into this comp, of course Spurs can go the whole way.

A squad with more talent than almost anyone. A squad also with the luxury of playing in the best league in the world to keep or in this case get sharper.

Give this team to almost any coach in Europe in the same position and they would come very close to the trophy. THats not downplaying it if Ange does happen to win it. I'm stating what I think is fact, and why supporters should still have hope.

Winning this format and doing well in the PL are two very different things. That conversion will be had at years end if Ange is still about I'm certain.

Ange in or Ange out there's no reason for anyone not to get excited about winning the closer the team gets to the prize.
 
Another three and half weeks to Frankfurt game, with international games coming up. Just sack Ange and get the unemployed Terzic in if Levy wanna save money. He knows German football inside out and I will be more confident of him setting up for Frankfurt than Ange. He can even win us the cup. I'm just scared watching us play under Ange.

He's young and he'll make mistakes and he duly did. Bergvall would not have been planned to start in the EL at the start of the season for this reason.

Unfortunately injuries, suspensions and poor form from Biss, Bents, Sarr and Maddison means we're on relying kids in Europe.

I think it was the plan to give the young players starts or mins in EL & other cups, not as in 3/4 starters but 2 as starters with experiance around them in the first section of EL

There are many others here who don't share the same views with me in many things but most of us are respectful humans who can agree to disagree and discussions can continue to be insightful. I don't need to answer to you on my commitment for the club I support, you forum baby. In fact I already saw you are questioning many in here and mentioned it's toxic here. Lol. We need five results and he needs to find a solution to our defensive MF and give cover to full backs as it won’t happen with the current set up, or is v unlikely

Delighted to be through, still can’t see us winning it. Our game management last night in the last part of the game was appalling, lost all composure and structure when VDV and bergvall went off
 
Look, position on Ange is the same. He needs replacing. Levy is not going to do it until the summer if at all... can we not just enjoy winning a game this morning. Fuck worrying about Frankfurt. They might have one eye on qualifying for the CL through their league position so they can't rest their best players. We don't have to worry about that. Enjoyed the game. Maybe there is a small chance we can rescue something from this shit season.

Sarr doesn't hide he just doesn't know what the hell he's supposed to be doing. Like a fair few other players. He's 22 he needs a proper coach to clearly set his remit. We are killing our young players.

Terzic hasn’t done anything in the prem so best keep him away from those comparisons with actual prem-tested managers before he does. 😂😂
 
Good to get through and it at least keeps the season interesting. Thought it was fairly predictable as a game, chaotic, give up chances, poor game management but enough going forwards to get the result. There is definately something to work with player wise though, there is some real talent there but it just needs a better structure/coaching. I dont think things are as bleak as this season suggests if we make the right decisions at the end of May.

As I understand it Terzic was considered in the event we had to fire Ange mid season. He was break glass in an emergency . Now that there's no real threat and the season has petered out with relegation not on Terzic is long list. Bournemouth are going to dig in on Iraola but we are in for him.
